Meat and Fish pies should need a {Knife} instead of the nonexistant {knife}.

For some reason, when I make pots of shortening bread, each piece of bread in the stack of 5 that I eat creates a new empty pot just as if I had finished it. This results in a wealth of pots, but not sure where it comes from :-)

I recently added these to my cookbook and noticed something a little strange...the meat soup recipe yields only 2# of soup, not 4# as would be expected based on adding up the ingredients (and from what I recall of making soup prior to adding the mod). And so I'm wondering if it's possible that the *cut specifier is requiring the item but not actually including it in the final calculation of food produced. Does that make sense? So my "stag soup" is actually just vegetables and water as far as the game is concerned...
I'm trying to think if there's any other way we could specify all meat (raw, smoked, salted, or dried), or even create separate entries (I know you don't like "menu clutter" but I'd be content with being able to make a separate "smoked meat soup" with maybe a longer cooking time to tenderize the meat) but I don't know enough about the way the items are defined. |

The problem with the meat soup is that the water needs to be boiled. Using *meat is fine. No problems there. Here's the new code:
Man, I feel like such a nerd. Before URW, I had NO programing or coding experience. Now, I feel like I've mastered the art. Now to figure out C++ |

Haha, I kinda feel the same way. Your nerdiness is much appreciated, though!

Sorry I missed it until now. Yeah, I clipped all the [boil] tags from the water entries to keep my food lighter. Either way you should get the same calories...but maybe miss out on the water content.
I'll add all those back in to the soups. |
