A separate section to discuss about "recent unreal world" version has lately started to sound a bit silly to me. This section was originally created when there were huge changes between few version in a row, and many seemed to still favour older versions. Do you people think that there's still need for both "general" and "version related" discussion? I don't - and I think that this might be confusing for newcomers. I'd gladly merge this section to general section. Any thoughts?

Hmm. I would say that with the auto-hide setting that you have on the forum (hide posts more than ~30 days old, IIRC) that it shouldn't be much of a problem.
Of course, it would help if people would mention the version number in the post titles.  |

I'd say go for it, merge!
And I think you should remove the auto-hide setting, because of it I thought there were barely any posts here when I first found the forum. |

I'm in for merging as well.
(Massive changes between versions can be always dealt in threads of their own.) When it comes to auto-hide, I though that it was removed sometime ago - all the forum sections should show topics "from the beginning" rather than "last 30 days." AbNo, wickerman, could you double check your forum view and if there's STILL "last 30 days" view for any of the forum sections, please report. |

I'm seeing all posts since The Beginning showing up, but I'm pretty sure I changed that in my control panel settings a while ago.
