Hi guys its me again with a few simple question's. Some for trainers and some for just the game itself.

For 1: Does anyone have a trainer? Or can make a trainer for the current version of the game? Im interested in experimenting. Also i kinda wanna make a awesome save file and just mess around with njerpez camps and stuff like that. (BTW DARN YOU NJERPEZ!!!)

Question 2: If you make a editor can you atleast make it understand able? Like not having us just like deal with going through a bunch of hex editing and such. (Im a newbie to hex editing and cheat engine in a way) So if you can make a fairly simple trainer/save editor i'd make a character in your name. And then name your name into quite alot of my posts. Cuz i give credit to peeps biggrin.gif Anyway...

Question 3: WHY ARE Elk's/Stag's So strong? i have shot a elk MORE then 10 times with arrow's. and threw like half my tools at it and its STILL not dead. Not even slowed down much. Are my arrow's that ineffective or something?

Also i lost him cause of retracing incorrect tracking.. (FUUUUUUUUUUU)

Question 4: Its almost impossible for me to survive on i wanna be a fisherman cause i think they lack most proper tools for survival. I normaly go with unfortunate hunting trip or village in driik zone.

So hopefully you people can make the trainer answer my questions give me some tips/helpfull idea's on what to do and what not. So.. either A: Post about how lazy i might be to earn everything in every save even if i want to experiment. Or post with a trainer for the people. ORR just post saying hi and what not.

Yeah!

We have got the whole range; Others are complaining that the game becomes boring and unchallenging once you gain lots of stuff&food, and that it is too easy to achieve that state - and other wish to have cheat / train option to directly jump into that state, to experiment and mess around with superb character. And everything in between. That is life, and that is good.

The development team aims to make the game more challenging, so there is not going to be a map editor nor trainer mode from our behalf. Some kind of map & character editor would be possible for fans to program, if someone is enthusiastic enough to dig into save formats - currently they are not that much encrypted. The world map data is packed and not so easy to edit with hex editor, so it would need piece of code to un-pack, edit and pack & save the map data. And the save formats are not going to stay the same for so many versions to come, so if anyone makes an editor, it is bound to be in need of updates as the game evolves.

Therefore, may I suggest community activity? Someone of you veteran players, could you make a superb save, send it over to Sharpscope, along with instructions how to store and re-use the save? I'm not engouraging this as an "official line of conduct", and I say this only because I think that players are free to play the game whichever way they enjouy the most.

I used to have a cheat table that allowed things like never get hungry/thirsty/tired, edit stats/skills, change the hour/day/month, see above trees/mountains and world map encounters, and teleport around the world map, but it was obsoleted by the latest version. It'll take a bit of time to update, and I'm not sure if the values are the same in your computer as they are mine. The addresses are static between playthroughs though.

In the meantime, here's a super-character for you to download:
http://www.mediafire.com/?r0l49xsqo83yluh

To use it, simply open a save folder and search for the CRS/OBJ/URS and replace them with the ones in the folder. Replace those files with the ones in the RAR above and rename them properly.

If the character's name is "Galm" you're looking GALM.CRS/OBJ/URS. Delete those, place the CHEAT.CRS/OBJ/URS files into that folder, and rename them the same as the old file. This should work in any save, but since the character's location is also saved in the files, you may end up very far away from where you initially were.

In addition, there are two files called "diy_transmutation.txt" and "menudef_transmutation.txt". Place those in your URW folder (not save folder) and you can create items out of thin air; except "Bolts" (Which are same as arrows), which require water for some reason that eludes me.

Food and hides get their stats from the ingredients/animals they were taken from, so spawning them would be pointless as they'd give no nutrition/protection value. So the character above comes with a full set of bear fur clothing and 100 dried bear cuts.

Hunting with this character should be easy anyway, with maxed skills and beyond the impossible stats, if you somehow manage to die on accident I don't think I can help you.

What do I mean by "beyond the impossible stats"?

I have in the past used a memory editor to interfere with the character generation and give my character very good stats. But I have found that the following combination of start up activities is equivalent to a trainer.

rolling a bunch. I watch eyesight and wait for it to be very high, only consider characters that have high eyesight then look at the other stats to see if its viable.
I take about half an hour of re rolling to get my character. I will not accept a character that has combat or blood aversion. I prefer canine and feline aversion.

Not all of the tribes are equal, some get far more levels of skills at the start.
Play the Dad just died game start. You get a way better chance of viable gear at start. Likely a week of food and very valuable extra linen clothing.

Start in the south west near a bunch of villages, note the way to the major river and make sure you start on the village side of the river. Might have to hit R a few times to achieve this.

play the learning mode game stream. This will achieve the following things.
Give you a shovel, a fishing rod, some seeds, a free level of tracking! some fish early on for food. And when you finish it, it will give you 5 new levels of skills you choose.

It takes me about 3 game hours to roll a character, go through the life in the wild stream and really settle my character in.
By that point, my character will have 5 levels in bow, sword, climb, cooking, tracking. Each in the 65-80 range. Have 4 or 5 rituals, my hunting or long bow, a broad sword if I found one or a good big knife if I don't. Fur armour, clothing. Celer, Punt.

This kind of power gaming is really cheating. The game is only minimally challenging played that way. But it is available as a way to learn the hunting mechanics. And set your character up.

If you do use a memory editor, the addresses for the stats change every compilation. So be prepared to look for them again.

Oh, I caught that while getting all of this set up. Like I said, I can't just magic fur and food out of thin air.

Not that it really matters when he WALKS at 40+ Kilometers per hour while carry over 200lbs of gear.

Anyone with a copy of the diy_transmutation.txt and menudef_transmutation.txt files? The archive does not seem to be available through the mediafire link.

That contains the text files, but not the character files. Simply extract them into your URW directory.

DAT STATS.
It's an interesting character, I couldn't figure out the addresses for stat vals myself. Could you please reupload the character files? The previous upload is already dead, unfortunately.

I was able to download it just fine. Check again. Maybe you were connected to a mirror that didn't have the file yet.

The uberchar file was erased of Mediafire, probably due to timeout.

Here it is again:
