| This still doesn't answer the question: Do they respawn? Just wiped out a njerpez camp, although pink blob is still there. I'm actually considering living the winter in it! Three large houses, few kotas... all nicely decorated with 9 red dead bodies. It was quite easy with longbow and 11 arrows: I came by night, circled village while trying to find sleeping soliders, relied mostly on headshots and even got 2 instant kills. After looting first kill, I had 40 arrows and rest was history. I'm afraid they'll respawn in the camp though and kill me in my sleep. Wiki doesn't know about respawning. So who does? By the way, night is perfect time for crazy stuff: I dug spiked pits in driik village doorways and killed, ate or traded meat of half of a village without them getting hostile towards me. All they did was falling into pits and cursing until wounds ended them. Digging a pit and getting seen is considered hostile though so come at night and close doors first. |

| kill them all and burn their buildings down :-) you can also "make" their camps appear if you wish, you do this by killing a village of a tribe and burning the buildings so you get a black square on the map, i have found they soon take over these gaps even when they are in the middle of a different tribes zone. im slowly wiping out a few tribes to make way for a massive pink splodge across the map lol oh and a few dogs on ropes are your best friends |

Sounds more like a member of the original tribe who just happened to be away from home during your killing spree. Returning to home to find his entire family slaughtered, and understandably upset, he immediately went out in search of revenge. Probably didn't take him long to find your cabin and you, in your state of ease, assuming that all the danger had already been dealt with... If you're gonna play roguelikes, then you better remember: DYING IS FUN! |

| Atleast in 3.12b camps do appear on other cultures areas. As for question "how to survive njerpezit" - I just kill them. Actually, on many characters I hunt them. The logs in their camps are great for houses, thats why I search camps at sea and on shore. They should ask themselves "How to survive me?" :-D | |||||

I can't say for sure, but I think their camps can't appear inside of the area of influence of other cultures. Also I recently got the strange happenning of 2 camps appearing at the same time close to my settlement and they were in such a way that their area of influence touched each other but didn't overlap, so maybe they can overlap even their own, so I guess inthat sense they are random. Besides that, their appearance seems pretty random, but something I've noticed is that when I see a wandering njerpezit warrior very far from any camp (and of their territory), if left alone it usually ends up in a camp appearing in the area, not sure if that's related. |

| So their appearance is totally random? It seems to me that they always find a way to appear in between my best trapping ground and the best village for trading! I actually lost my longest-lived character that way. I was walking back from the village to one of my traps and moving too quickly/with not enough visibility and just walked right onto the square with the warrior on it. I still wasn't very good at combat at that point, and so I tried running, but the bastard took me out with two arrows to the torso. |

| So to answer my own question, yes the Njerpezit do come back. At least one did and thats all that was needed when your recovering from other wounds. |

Consider a row of (spiked) pit traps also, for double security |
