As working on HERBLORE-skill it appears that item naming routines need to be overhauled to allow smooth usage of 'unknown' and 'known' descriptions. So I gotta dig deep into the code, but now that I'm on it I though of renewing item quality tags as well. There will be quality tags and descriptions for all the items; no more stacking issues caused by hidden quality variables.
So HERBLORE is indeed going to be a major addition. Few minor dev.news from the past days;
- bug revealed: eating something with more than 36 characters long name (e.g. Pot of Tellervo's gift mushroom soup) causes a crash on Linux.
Buffer overflow - the future overhaul of item description and quality tags fixes this automatically. Until then, avoid food with long names.
- fixed: Warfare-task not completing if pets or companions were present.
Until the fix takes place (in next release) there is more challenge to raid a Njerpez camp to complete Warfare-task as you need to do it all by yourself.
