Title: Detailed Skill Effects?
Description: Need more information

Hey,
I remember back in the day when cooked food had different kind of qualities but not anymore. I'm currently doing a quite micromanaged character so I'd like to know what the cooking skill actually does?
And the same question about Timbercraft and Building.
I can only think of the skills lowering the duration taken to perform the action but please enlighten me.

I am pretty new to UnReal World, but I noticed that certain items like javelins, stakes, torches and arrows get sometimes stacked differently. I guess they have a different quality group, but it seems to be hidden. The only exception are skins/furs/leather. For roasting I never had any different stacks, they all got into one stack - at least when they had the same age. I had a stag yesterday and I had stacks of 100 roasted stag cuts, whereas I have 3 arrows, 1 arrow, etc. stacks for crafted items.
Hope that helps.

Yes, I noticed too that skins do have qualities, which affects the value of the item thus giving hideworking skill a meaning. However the meaning of raising Cooking, Timbercraft and Building is still a mystery to solve :)

Meals still do have different qualities. Roasted/Salted/Smoked/Dried meat and fish are the only exception. They stack differently due to spoil times. Timbercraft and building skills only decrease the time needed to perform the associated actions. Timbercraft usually isn't too important because it will raise rather quickly. Building, on the other hand, is a skill you should consider if you plan on making any sort of cabin. It skilled builder can usually whip up a section of wall in about 4 hours, but an unskilled builder can some times take 12 or more hours. That is a very big deal if you don't have a reliable food source.
