Title: Going To My Homeland

empfan - April 24, 2012 09:38 PM (GMT)
I was thinking that maybe spending the rest of this characters life in the traders down here in Driik country is a bit too easy, so I decided in a years time I'll gather supplies, and make a trek over to Seal Tribe and live there for the rest of my characters days.

Any recommendations on what I should take with me?

-Woodman's Axe
-Carving Axe
-Broad Axe
-Hunting Knife
-Broad Knife
-Hunting Bow
-Arrows (50+)
-Fishing Pole
-2 Fishing Nets
-2 Cooking Pots
-Skin
-10 Cords
-4 Bandages
-Fur Clothes
-Wool Clothes
-Bag of Barley Flour
-Plenty of Dried Meat
-At Least One Dog

That's my usual long trip kit. There's no reason a leveled character can't survive with this stuff. Well, besides a suprise bear attack!

I'll probably be bringing around 100+ food with me, all my axes and nets, and some other things, otherwise I think that list will work fine for a to-do before the summer is out, got to get my cabin going for the coming winter too...and plenty of cups for trading food. I'm a fisher, not really a hunter.

Any tips on getting cords other than hides and my own clothes?

Yeah, try Rain's Clothing Mod. Here's the link:

It's very well balanced and my hat goes off to Rain for this one. BTW, cups are really bad for trading unless you're playing an older version. I believe torches are now the most efficient trading item. Good luck on your journey!
