Title: Children Are Tough

Well, it had been a long time since I played so the other day I decided to buy the current version and have a play, the first game I played was just a tester, I got some armour and weapons and attacked a village, killed some guys, but none of the children in the fight, who kept attacking me, died.

Even though some of the Children were grievously or seriously wounded, they were still kicking me, picking up knives and trying to stab me etc, seemingly not effected by their harsh wounds caused by a mace and knife. Anyway it all ended when I had been hitting these kids for so long that I tired, eventually falling down, getting kicked in the neck by a kid and died, lol.

The randomness of the game, I thought it was just one of 'those' occurances. Until today when my actual character was on the edge of starvation, with no food worth trading for nearby. I felt rather than trade away armour for a couple cuts of food that will probably not last me long enough to find and kill an animal, my best bet would be to try a hit and run raid, to trade for food in another nearby village.

So, there I was, I walked into an armour shop that had only one man inside, with no one nearby. I swung once, my broadsword cleaved his neck in half and killed him instantly. I picked up the fur and leather armours inside and put it on, it wasn't all that heavy really so it didn't encumber me much.

Seemingly no one had realised, atleast that's what I thought as I left the village, until suddenly I got hit in the back when I thought I had made it away. When I turned around I had just about the whole village chasing me lol. My only choice was to turn and fight, as I couldn't outrun them.

Anyway, I backed up against water and a corner leaving only 4 spaces for villagers to attack me from, all of which I could see, using my Mace and Broadsword I hacked and smashed them apart, men and women died, the sage retreated with injuries, an adventurer came along, got smashed so bad he fell down and couldn't get back up and spent the rest of the fight crawling around the floor nearby.

But there were 4 children in the battle, I had slashed them with my sword, hit them with my mace, but only one died. By the end of the battle it was just 3 children and 1 man left fighting me, but the children just wouldn't die and were still hitting me like they were full grown men with fresh stamina. I looked at the 3 children who were still alive and they were too greviously and seriously wounded. They kicked me to death, again,.

Why the hell are children so tough? especially compaired to all these other full grown men that died so much easier than they did, these 3 children left alive would have had numerous sword and mace wounds that any child in reality would have either died from or most certainly ran away from. Why don't children retreat like adults either? they seemed to be zealous, child berserkers lol.

Am I just that massively unlucky to come across these child demi-god warriors?

BUMP, 79 views and not a single opinion, is there no one who has experienced these demi-god children?

Nothing a couple arrows can't make work of.

Perhaps this is due to the fact that the children joined the battle after you were already quite winded, preventing you from being able to deliver the final blow. If not, that is weird. But you shouldn't be killing kids anyway. Shame on you!

I'm not sure kids aught to be 'entering battle' anyway. Seems weird.

That is odd, and no, that's never happened to me before.

As for kids entering battle, if some raider came into my town and was in the process of killing my dad, I think I would do something and try to hack at the dude who is destroying my village.

But maybe they could run away/try to escape much earlier than adults, like if someone near them dies or if they are the only person fighting. I think that would be the most 'natural' thing for them to do.
