Suggestion: Make "registered to" name hidden within a menu rather then shown by default on the main screen.

Anything below this point is just further elaboration on this.

Why am I suggesting this? Well if you were to stream your game on a live streaming website you would be showing that information on the screen unless you censor it manually. A lot of people might not want your name out there for the internet to find for obvious security reasons.

Now I guess this could also be good in a sense because you could see if people are mass sharing licenses (piracy) if you see a lot of people with the same registry name but I guess you need to weigh the two arguments against each other.

I know that I personally wouldn't want my name just displayed like that if I were to stream my game or make LP's of it so that means I would actively have to censor it every time I go to the main screen and all it takes is 1 slip when live streaming and it would be out there.

This isn't much of a problem for people with very common names but some people have very unique names (my registry name could actually pinpoint me personally since I have basically a unique name)

So what do you guys think?

That's reasonable - and easy to do. So I'll hide it.
(Displaying registration name on the main screen is leftover from times before LPs or streamed gameplay became popular (or was even possible).)

I didn´t like my name being displayed there too much either.

That would be some cheap a** pirates, stealing a game for 3 bucks :angry:

Mentioning that part of the menu, why is lending or reselling forbidden?
Also I rarely/never do the above with my games, I like the idea of owning them and doing what I want with my copy.

Yeah it sucks that there are people like that, there are always people that will just refuse to pay anything and pirate it, thankfully you don't really lose a sale to those since they would never have paid in the first place...

Thankfully the free version allows you to play enough to get a feel for the game to know if you want to buy it or not so you don't really need to lend it out for example. I do share your opinion though that I like to feel that I own it and being able to do as I want with it, but gotta be realistic too I guess ;D
