Once upon a time there were this man named Bananis. He started his life alone in the forest with 2 unfinished cottages and some equipment. Bananis decided he would finish the cottages and live there happily ever after. But faith decided otherwise. Mother Nature attacked Bananis's building site multiple times with various animals. After a while she decided to launch the big artillery, she sent a bear. Bananis killed the bear naked armed only with an axe, a crossbow and one arrow. He got plenty of food and could've survived for long, the fur of the bear keeping him warm all winter. But NO, the next attack came 2 days later, when Bananis cottage was almost ready. A Lynx. After a long fight (Bananis didn't want to flee) the Lynx killed him.

That was the story about Bananis Kaumolainen

The thing you learn here: Never leave all your clothes and armor behind, they could mean the difference between life and death if you get attacked by a Lynx.

If you just haved few trap and if you have good luck you can survive if lynx/bear attacks.

You haved bad luck :(, but you can start all over again :).

Most dangerous creature is Lynx, you can kill bear naked but lynx is harder... Many times I have been killed by lynx, once it was because I made an oath to mother nature, not to hurt animals <_<

That's why you Shift+R for all you're worth whenever anything is too big for you. ;-)

What could you too? "You here rustle near by." hide
"Branch naps under your feet. Lynx turn at your direction. You have been noticed!"
Run "You have been attack from behind, you fall unconsious" "You wake up from unconsious." at this point you are cripled, bleeding and praying for mother nature to save you. "You crawl. You hear rustle behind you" Now you turn and see lynx rushing at you... mommy!

Few things:
Save the game.
Take your crossbow and shoot (my crossbow skill was low and i killed lynx on 3rd shot).
Do not run so lynx can hit your back.

You can run backwards too.

And best way to survive from Lynx attack:

1: Enable Run
2: Run quickly as you can behind nearest tree, so you can't see Lynx, neither the Lynx can see you.
3: HIDE!
4: Turn your back to Lynx, and start walking away. DO NOT look at the lynx.
5: Go over map border. You're safe.

i escaped a couple of times, but it was always there. And I didn't want to leave my cottage and all my stuff

Just wait 10 days or less and theres no more lynx.
