I think I have played a game month and my guy has been sick -10 since day three.
How do I make this go away?
He wont lie down unless he is tired. So even though I could feed myself for a week of bed rest he wont take a week of bed rest.
There is no chicken soup.

The only times In the past it warned of sniffles I got out of the weather and never actually got sick. But this time I couldn't.

Just take it easy for a few days. Sit down in a house next to a fire perhaps.

Wait or do some minor crafting, maybe make some arrows, if that's your sort of thing.

In real life it is used to reduce inflammation and clear up phlegm as part of a treatment for flu symptoms.

Does sauna help any? I habitually go into nearest sauna when my guy is either seriously wounded or down with cold and scoop the whole tub on the fireplace. But does it actually have some kind of effect on healing checks?

Sauna is good for cold - and for some injuries as well.
(The importance of sauna will be improved in the future - and also the actual effects of sauna bath will be revealed for the player character in more detail.)
