For those who don't know me, I used to be a member here and I rp'd Idrian, one of the Deadwood wolves.

Wolves have always been dear to my heart and I think that's probably the same for everyone here. Below is a copy of my facebook note with the original Defenders of Wildlife message attached at the bottom. When I first got the email from DoW, I was shocked that the hunting had already gone so far and an entire pack had been wiped out. Cottonwood is gone, and I'm afraid the Druids and other Yellowstone packs are not far behind if something isn't done. Please sign the petition. It will only take a few minutes and the good it will do is immeasurable. Please copy the link and email it to any friends you know who share your concern.

Below is the form message from Defenders of Wildlife-They're about 12,000 signatures short on their petition. I don't know about anyone else, but this sort of butchery makes me sick-and the senseless slaughter of defenseless animals by idiots who think it's ok because the wolves are preying on their "Property" is the same thinking that nearly drove the animals to extinction in the first place. Entire wolf packs are being stalked and killed in Greater Yellowstone and the northern Rockies region. Even the famous Cottonwood pack from Yellowstone National Park has been destroyed, all because of a flawed decision to remove federal protections from these amazing animals.
