fur color: Most of his body is natural black, with lighter silvery highlights on his stomach, the back of his hind legs, and around his cheeks, which fade into a rusty brown. A vibrant, wide rusty streak runs from the top of his head to the tip of his tail, fading into the rest of his pelt, cut only by bright cream streaks over his hackles. An odd ridge runs from the top of his head, to the base of his tail, standing straight up on end and lopping over on his forehead.

scars/identifying marks: Just that strange mohawk like ridge down his back, and his overall strange pelt shading.

pups: None

personality: Cocky, you might say, he's very outgoing and wont show fear towards anyone. Even if they are much larger or much more powerful than he is. He knows when to pick fights, and when to stay the heck out of it, but he isn't one to back down when challenged directly.

Most of the time though he's pretty much care free. He's used to roaming, and loves getting himself -and others into trouble. A trickster of sorts, he likes to play around a lot, and retrains his pup-ish ways while still holding an air of adult seriousness at times. He'd really rather make someone laugh than anything else though.

Oh sure, just like any male of his age, he's very much into females, and loves their attention, and will stop at practically nothing to gain this attention. He makes a fool of himself quite often, but he's the stubborn romantic type. You know the kind... The ones that will tell you you're beautiful with no hesitation and leave flowers beside you when you're asleep. The kind that also will blatantly tell you that he wants to mate with you, regardless of what the consequences may be. The male isn't afraid to speak his mind.

A history: Born to a rogue female, he was one of three pups in her litter. Not that he got to stick around to grow up with them. No, he was the one who had been stolen away by a hungry owl. Luckily though, he was dropped into the water where an older female had been fishing only moments before. The cry of a drowning pup had alerted her to his presence, and he was rescued.

He'd only been with his real mother long enough to become almost weaned from her milk. I guess you could say that was forced on him though, after his abduction.

Raised by the older female he was taught to hunt, and fight, and the rules of the wilderness. Like any loner, he knew how to hide his scent, how to stay hidden even in heavily populated pack territories. He also learned the hardships of travel, but he grew to love it nonetheless.

Lota, the female who'd rescued him from drowning- died at the hearty age of 19 years. Axel had only been 2 years old at the time, but was well capable of taking care of himself, the old wolf had made well sure of that before her death.

Axel has been alone since, roaming through many different lands, and through many different pack territories, picking up a few oddball habits as he went.
