1. You are not to use cursing on this site.
2. Do not powerplay. Examples: Your character kills 15 orcs with one arrow. Your character kills another character.
3. Do not make your character a mix of strange races, however elf/human is okay.
If there are many people who want to play half-elves, we might decide that there can be no more.
4. Please refrain from personal questions.
5. Please attempt to use correct spelling and grammer. If you have a program like Microsoft Word that has a spell check, you can type your post there and it will tell you if words are spelled incorrectly. You can then copy and paste it into a post on this site.
6. Please read the "Is your character 'too perfect'?" topic in the Rules section in the Red Book forum. If your character doesnt pass that test, please revise the character.

This roleplay takes place during the Third Age of Middle Earth. Frodo has the one ring. Bilbo has gone to live with the elves. Saruman has turned evil. Please keep this in mind as you choose your character.

To post your character, go to the Grey Havens and make a new topic. The topic title should be your character's name. You do not have to have a topic decription, but you can if youd like to add something about your character. You may have an original character or make one up. In your post, tell us about your character's history, personality, and appearance. Do this even if you are using an original character. Administrators (commonly referred to as Admins) will read your character description tell you if you are approved, and can post your character in the The Isles of the West, or if we would like you to make some changes. We are trying to stay close to what Tolkein wrote, so make your character realistic to what is in the books.
