Nothing is the same since the battle at Alcatraz, the mutant laws have come into power making it required that all mutants be on lists held by the government. The sentinels now are in the mass building stages but if they don't get you the soldiers patroling the streets will do it with the utmost force there allowed to take.

There was a peace where mutants and humans alike lived together but, that wasn't meant to last forever, and that was two years ago only in the last year has the mutant 'scare' started again with a mutant hating president in office spreading awful lies. A man..no mutant named Nathaniel Essex, though called Mr. Sinister by all has began to capture mutants and experiment on them to create what he says will be the most powerful mutants known to the universe...he will not stop till he is sure of this no matter what the cost.

After the battle all thought that the Brotherhood was defeated, but oh they weren't they just layed low gaining power once more and with Magneto back into his power it's become a menaceing group once more. John Allerdyce is the leader in the forefront, none really knowing that Magneto is still calling the shots from behind the lines, Mystique has taken her favored spot again, once she got her own powers back and convinced all that her turning on them was all for survival and nothing more that is.

Xavier's school is still going strong taking in all mutants that need the shelter, with Charles back and in a younger body of course. It was found out what happened to Jean with the Phoenix force having brought her back again and even she is back though many don't even know it. Scott Summers was also brought back along with many of the people that where killed when the Phoenix force went berserk, some don't even remember what happened to them and went back onto whatever path it was they wanted.

The two waring groups though haven't given up on the old fight, no Xavier has put together a newer team with a young woman who lived at the school threw the whole battle at the head. It may have not been the wisest thing to do to put a twenty year old girl in charge of anything but Gwenivire Pearson and her sister aren't your normal mutant girls, both are omega level mutants Gwen rivaling the best known mutants. What Xavier doesn't know is that Gwen's own loyalty is questioned by love, her love for the Brotherhood leader known as Pyro, the two dated at school till the day that he turned on the school and Gwen never could forget her first love even to this day.

Though Gwen and He haven't been in a realtionship since that day fate had other things on her mind, the two meet in a battle neither knowing that each were leaders and the sparks flew once more as the two started a secret and very much wrong realtionship. Neither knows what will happen but something has to break, in the war and in mutant affairs of all kinds.

Will you join one side or the other, will you be the human stuck in the middle, or will you be the goverment trying to destroy all things mutant. You must find you Alliance before it's too late to chose it..because it may be your last.

---It's a new chapter to the story---

All this information was hidden to the two main mutant groups, neither knew and some that did hadn't the mind to know what it would do to them. The days of Apocolypse are coming and only the select few know anything and even if they do it is glimpses and glimmers of the horror that will come to pass. En Saba Nur known as only Apocolypse is coming, the worlds oldest known mutant is going to bring hell on earth with his four horsemen.

There are new hidden factions as well: The Hellfire Club whom consists of mutants and humans alike whom want more power, Morlocks the poor mutants who have physical changed with there power that see themselves as disfigured or have been called that as well. And of course there are a group of mutants that have taken Magneto's priciples of mutant superiority to the max and call themselves the Acolytes. If you thought this was all then your wrong, because also there are the Exiles a group of mutants who jump threw dimensions cut off from there own. And finally the groups that gain and lose members as they join other teams or have deaths..this is S.H.I.E.L.D and Excalibur.

The battles are still raging the fight for mutant rights is going strong but what will happen to your alliances are tested by these new factors. And will you be drawn into the struggle to stop Apocolypse and his horsemen from coming to fruition or will you let it just pass you by and become a part of history.
