The Rules, Read this first!

Hey there! Welcome to the Ultimate N Zone a Captain N forum. Before you start posting, let’s get the rules out of the way. That way, if you break the rules, you have nobody to blame but yourself when we yell at you. We try to keep the board more or less work safe (that means that there shouldn’t be anything on this forum that would get you in trouble if you were looking at it at work or at school.) If you really feel the need to post a link to something that isn’t worksafe (and I honestly don’t know why you would) warn everybody before they click the link.

To set the record straight, this isn’t a site to slam previous Captain N sites and their webmasters. Many people here might not care for the way things were done at other sites. That’s there. This is here. It doesn’t concern us.

First here’s some minor things. These violations won’t get you banned. At least, not right away and not unless you push things. We’ll give you a warning first.

Excessive Random Japanese: Maybe you’re an otaku and you find everything kawaii and those who don’t like it are baka. It’s annoying. We don’t care for that here.
1337 2p34k: it’s dumb. Stop it.
Extremely poor grammar. I’ll admit that my grammar sucks and I don’t know how to spell a lot of things. I’m not talking about that. What I’m talking about are people who refuse to use capitalization, punctuation, and abbreviate entire words into single letters. (Example: r u finished i want 2 move on 2 the nxt rule)

Now if you’re finished, I want to move on to the next rule. (Whoa...Deja Vu!)

Also, keep your signatures and avatars a normal respectable size. If the avatars stretch the sidebar it's abd. As for sigs. Nothing longer than the mainbar and nothing taller than 250 pixels.
Try to keep things relatively on topic. (I’m pretty lax on this one)
Keep the profanity to minimum
No explicit content (written or otherwise)
Posting or linking to hentai
No flame wars
Especially no flame wars that involve other forums and sites
Posting or linking to ROM and emulator sites. I know they’re out there and you probably use them, you just can’t talk about them here.
No trolling.
No Spam
No alternate accounts. One is enough for anybody

Me and the other mods have the final say here. If you don't like it, you can quite frankly go find another site.

Basically, just don’t be a jerk and most importantly of all, have fun everybody.

Also, only one username to an email address. The reason for this is pretty obvious, I'd think.

I won't hit this forum with a barrage of alts. I MIGHT create Zeromus, but that would be the only one.

I'm not too worried about double postuings, as long as you give it a decent amoutn of time between posts.

What do you think about bumping? There are interesting topics in the Captain N section that are screaming to me,

"You can't post in me because you're new!"

How many smilies will you allow most to a post? Is this too many questions? I got more.

Don't post "bump". If you have somethign to say in a topic though, go for it.

For smilies, use your judgement. All I'll say is that when I look at a topic, I want to see more words than smilies. Just keep yourself under control and if you get out of line, I'll let you know.

Okay, just wondering, what's the point of an alt on a forum? At all? I mean, it's just for posting really, not like your username is your character for roleplaying or anything.

There are two main reasons for alts.


The first is to actually pretend to be two or more different people, in effect, having conversations with yourself or claiming to be another person that agree with what you've said.

Also, like Mecha's Zeromus account, some people Do roleplay their alts.

Ahhh, so there is roleplaying! Hmmm...

We tried it here. It didn't take off.

And the monthly contest fared only slightly better.
