Today, I got my hands on Dissidia: Final Fantasy for the PSP. Think of it as a Squeenix-styled SSBB, and you know where I'm going.

Basically, there are 10 heroes and 10 villians in this game, spanning from FFI to FFXII (tho, of FFXI and XII, there is only one of each from those games).

Since I've just gotten home recently, I'll be playing the game for a bit, so expect a review later on.

At any rate, any thoughts so far about this game?

Edit: Well, I WOULD be playing my game, but apparently, all the time I'd not been playing my PSP has caused its battery to burn out... >_<

Well, nice to see that not everybody has left this place.

Anyway, this is a game that I really want to play. really. Looks awesome. Only things is, I don;'t have a PSP, and honestly, don't want one. I really don't like playing games on a screen that small.

True, but still, I just can't get into the portable stuff anymore. I need a regualr TV screen to play these things.

Yea, I can't play my DS for more than 2 hours before I get a headache. I can play my PSP a bit longer because the screen's bigger.

The combination of sudden massive expenses (don't want to talk about it), trying to save up for an upcoming power rangers convention & the fact that I haven't finished every main FF yet (6 down, 6 to go) keeps me from getting this for the time being. But man am I addicted to the demo.

Believe me, when you DO get the game, you'll get addicted to it. biggrin.gif Trust me. One of my favorite modes on this so far (for the fighting, that is) is the "Command-Mode", which lets you do the fighting old-school RPG style! biggrin.gif Tho, some of the battles are a bit more difficult than I'd like sometimes. tongue.gif

I just finished FF5 a few days ago. It was the 7th entry of the core series I've beaten thus far (the order being 10, 1, 7, 4, 3, 2, 5)

I could never bring myself to beat 2. That was such a horrible leveling system.

Well, the only one I've beat still to this day is FFVII, tho I'm working on VIII and X (as well as X-2).

Really? I spent an hour or 2 grinding in the GBA & then I was pretty much over leveled for the rest of the game. It had a neat bonus dungeon you can play as the deceased party members in Hell. More RPGs should have that.

Looks like 9 will be next on my utterly random countdown, I finished Disk 1.

I got stuck on that game way back when. tongue.gif

And I'm trying to beat FFVIII once more (I got to the end and hated what was going on in the castle, so I quit). Dissidia made it where I wanted to beat it.
