I intend to start getting this section of the UNO forum in a more active state shortly.

Among other things, I want to begin the work to complete the trilogy of resolutions that began with the Tsunami Warning System resolution and continued with the Natural Disaster Act resolution. The next proposal would be related to building standards and codes for disaster and emergency facilities.
After both the real life examples of the South Asian Tsunami of December 2004, and Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, as well as other major disasters, and the confirmation that more major tropical cyclones are likely in the next few years and the confirmation that tsunamis are possible in other areas, including the North Atlantic Ocean basin, there ought to be a lot to work with.
