Survivor Envious
Vol. 1 Issue 1
The Beginning

[Day One]

As the two tribes, Adimu and Eshe, jumped off of the Survivor Envious Boat, the clouds opened up. It was a symbolic message to the castaways that their time on Envious Island was not going to be easy. One by one, they all jumped into the dark blue, almost black ocean and climbed into their canoes. None of them have taken the time to size up their fellow castaways yet; instead they’re focused on the task at hand.

To the shock of all the castaways they were informed, by Survivor Envious host Tyler that their first Immunity Challenge was already in progress. The first tribe that made it to their camp would win Immunity and be safe from Tribal Council the following night.

The castaways paddled furiously towards their camps. The water was choppy, so it wasn’t easy going for the tribes. Eshe took a huge lead initially, and never relinquished it. Adimu could never get on track, getting bogged down by some of their weaker members. The challenge showed a lot about each individual, and it was apparent that some of the Adimu tribe members were quite upset about the performance of a few of their tribe mates.

[Eshe]

Aaron, 20, Texas
Eloy, 25, Texas
John, 19, Illinois
Matt, 23, Ohio
Paige, 17, Kentucky
Stacey, 17, Canada
Stephanie, North Carolina
Tina, Pennsylvania

As Eshe arrived jubilantly to their camp, they were finally able to relax and get to know each other. Matt and John seemed to have no problem finding the confessional camera.

Matt: I can't believe we finally made it to Envious Island! The boat ride was rocky as hell, but it was worth it. I'm curious to see what my tribe will be like. I hope we all get along! I know we're in for a crazy game, and I can't wait. I'm sure I'll have more to say once I meet everyone and am able to form my first impressions.

John: Well we won immunity. I'd rather say hey and shit to everybody before I gotta start talking about who to vote off. Sucks to be the other tribe. Hopefully they'll vote off a strong player they don't like, that'd help us win more challenges.

Aaron spotted Tina, and ran over to talk to her. Apparently, they had been in a previous game and Aaron felt the need to suck up a bit.

Aaron: Hi Tina. How're you hun?
Tina: I'm good.
Aaron: So I wanted to apologize for my behavior in Wisteria. Not that it really affected you, but I was kind of childish.
Tina: Alias games bring out the worst in people.
Aaron: I am really wondering about the whole "envious" thing.
Tina: You think there's some kind of twist there?
Aaron: Possibility. I hope it’s not the, voted out person picks someone to go with them thing.
Tina: Ew that would suck.
Aaron: Yep especially since we both know each other can be sneaky.
Tina: Who?? Moi???
Aaron: Oh never!

The “envious thing” Aaron spoke about is the Envy Idol. The Envy Idol is given to the Immunity Challenge victor that contains a prize that’s certainly worth fighting for. However, the prize is not awarded until an unspecified time in the game. Therefore, it’s prudent to win every Immunity Challenge, because nobody knows when the prize will be awarded.

Meanwhile, Aaron spotted another person he could schmooze, Stacey.

Aaron: Aw we are on the same tribe. How cute.
Stacey: Very cute.
Aaron: I hate survivor just so you know.
Stacey: No need to be scared.
Aaron: I am not really scared, just I always do good, then people are like.... we don't want you around anymore *votes*.
Stacey: Aw it’s okay. I give you permission to stay. Not that I have power. My permission is as good as a bubble gum wrapper.
Aaron: We can be powerless together.
Stacey: Powerless and weird…
Aaron: Yes it is a two-fer-one!
Stacey: Oh what a deal.
Aaron: You sound so excited.

Stacey then turned to the camera and summed the entire conversation up.

Stacey: Its funny how games can make people be so fake.

Tina also made a brief appearance in front of the confessional cameras.

Tina: We're off to a good start winning the first challenge! I can't even begin to think who would be voted off if we were to lose. Steph and I seemed to hit it off right away. She's outgoing and very friendly.

[Adimu]

Andrew, 20, Michigan
Clayton, 21, California
Heidi, 20, Maryland
Karilo, 20, California
Lisa, 17, Canada
Preston, 17, Ohio
Sammi, 19, North Carolina
Tim, 20, Canada

Adimu finally arrived to their camp after hours of exhausting paddling. Most of them were pissed off that a few of their fellow tribe members didn’t pull their weight in the challenge. It would certainly make for an interesting day at camp.

The ones that seemed to struggle the most were Sammi, Preston, and Clayton. All would soon find themselves on the chopping block. Heidi and Andrew seemed to hit it off nicely.

Heidi: How are you?
Andrew: Really good, how you doing? I'm really excited about this game!
Heidi: I'm doing good! I'm excited too, but kind of nervous. I'm always nervous at the beginning of new games.
Andrew: Yeah, this is my first game, so I'm both really psyched and nervous.
Heidi: Aw it’s your first game!! You'll have fun. So have you heard of any of these people before?
Andrew: I've heard plenty of rumors about Sammi.
Heidi: Oh good or bad? I've heard both good and bad.
Andrew: Well, I heard she makes and breaks deals almost everyday.

To be labeled a threat this early in the game, on top of having a poor showing in the Immunity Challenge, Sammi’s position in the game was looking bleak at best. Heidi did her best to comfort her though.

Heidi: Hey Sammi.
Sammi: Hey.
Heidi: How are you?
Sammi: Good, yourself?
Heidi: I'm pretty good! Yeah we lost the first challenge already. I really think its Clayton and Preston’s fault we lost. So do you know anyone in this game?
Sammi: Yeah I know almost all of them. Not really happy that I know most of them either.
Heidi: Ah that’s not good, who don't you like?
Sammi: *Bites tongue and laughs*

In fact, there was one person that Sammi really despised. It would become clear later the next day who and why that was.

Heidi continued to talk to everyone on the tribe and had this to say about them.

Heidi: I like Andrew a lot. I talked to him more than anyone else, and although I find him to be a bit shady I think he would be the one I could trust most on this tribe. He's the only person who has never played an ORG. He knows a little about other people, but since it's his first ORG, I would think he wouldn't try to be too controlling, which is good because I hate controlling people. I talked to him about sticking together, but he just seems like he's got split personalities.

I thought I would like Sammi a lot, but when I tried talking to her, we really didn't talk much at all. I'm not too sure how much I can trust her.

I think I'll like my tribe. I'd like to use my normal strategy where I pick one person to go to F2 with and carry everyone along making them think they're making all the decisions, but I can't really trust anyone on my tribe yet.

Meanwhile, Preston was sitting at the top of a coconut tree and refused to speak to anybody.

Karilo and Lisa spoke near the bushes about the impending vote.

Karilo: Lame!! We fuckin lost!
Lisa: I know. IT’S FUCKIN PATHETIC. We should def vote the same. Sammi, Clayton and Preston.
Karilo: Haha they all have funny names.
Lisa: Well we should vote one of them off? Yay? Nay?
Karilo: Yay.
Lisa: Ok but who?
Karilo: We should vote out Clayton because he looks like Ricky Martin.

Tim also shared a similar opinion that Clayton should leave. Apparently there were many Ricky Martin haters on this tribe.

Lisa: How do you think the vote will go?
Tim: I'm thinking Clayton.
Tim: How about you?
Lisa: Clayton. That’s what I have been hearing.
Tim: So what do you do for fun? I know it's such a boring question.
Lisa: I hate that question!! WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Please don’t ask anyone that again. You’re very interesting.
Tim: Oh really?
Lisa: No I’m just trying to be nice.
Tim: Okay...

After this conversation with Lisa, Tim inexplicably still wanted either Preston or Clayton out of the game, despite Lisa’s bitch like attitude.

Tim: So for Tribal Council I've heard two names so far; Preston and Clayton. Both were absent during the challenge, causing us to lose. And well, they both don't seem to be talking to too many people. I would be okay voting out either of them at the moment, but we'll see how things play out.

[Eshe]

As the night wore on, the castaways grew tired. Both camps had fire by now, and Eshe had just completed making their shelter. Stephanie was off collecting wild berries, hoping not to spot any bugs along the way. She stopped by the confessional camera to give her take on the game.

Stephanie: I have spent a year out of games, and first impressions here are not good.
I don't really know anyone, for the most part. You'd think, given the fact that I used to be targeted for being a threat this would be a great thing. It's weird, not knowing *anyone*, exactly. Not even for alliances. Just to have a shred of familiarity. I like meeting new people, but these days, it only can carry so far.

I don't feel like I'm that much older than I was when I started these games, and I guess I'm not, but it seems much harder to get to know people than it used to be. I talked to each member of the Eshe tribe earlier, but every conversation was either short or *that* conversation - the one you have with everyone the first night in a game... where are you from, what do you do, have you played a lot of games? Come to think of it, I didn't even get that far with a couple of them.

I don't know what I am going to do about an alliance. Most everyone seems 'nice', but no one sticks out at all. And even if Tina does happen to be older, right now, there is a distance between myself and everyone else that didn't exist as much in the past. For now, I chat up to a point, help with challenges, and have the occasional bit of strategic thought on how to get ahead, but I have put nothing into effect, have no clue with these people on when is too late or too early to figure out alliances, and if I don't snap out of it, I will be out of here much quicker than I usually am.

Back at camp, Eloy was trying to make a fire and getting very agitated when he couldn’t. He had spent an hour working on it, when he finally got up and stormed off.

Eloy: So we won the first immunity challenge. It was pretty darn easy. Looking at my tribe mates, I think we have a pretty good tribe. I recently played a game with Stacey. Now I'm being honest, that girl is just plain STUPID. How she manages to play a game is beyond me. John is pretty cool. I can see myself working with him and Matt. Oh and Stephanie is pretty cool too. I'm really pleased to be in this tribe. But I’m patiently waiting for the strong personalities to pop out.

As Eloy headed back to tend to the fire after gathering some firewood, he noticed Stacey walking to the fire as well. Stacey sat down and lit a fire in about 5 seconds. Eloy threw down the firewood and went to bed.

Before bed, John decided to stop by and update the confessional booth.

John: My tribe is um... alright. The only ones I really know beforehand are Tina and Aaron. Aaron doesn't like me though and Tina knows everybody in the ORG world since she either plays or hosts probably 95 % of them so I'm not sure that counts. The rest of my tribe is ok. Eloy is the guy that likes to drink, he's pretty cool and probably a hardcore gamer. Stephanie writes, not something I'd ever do but that's ok.

Paige is weird, her screen name indicates that and she seems to want attention. Stacey shares the same name as a girl in a Fountains of Wayne song. I don't really think anything else of her. I think that's it. I don't have any alliances yet and don't know who anyone wants to vote off. Probably me. They'd be best to vote me off since I can assemble the shrine of the silver monkey in under ten seconds.

After John got done beating his chest like an ape, he joined the rest of his tribe members in bed.

[Day Two]

[Adimu]

As the sun came up, Sammi was staring at the ocean. She was the first person to wake, because she had something on her mind. She wanted to find a way to get Lisa out of the game, and she saw her opening while discussing strategy with Tim over breakfast.

Tim: Lisa is really...weird!
Sammi: I don’t talk to her.
Tim: I might not after this. Apparently being polite makes me not interesting.
Sammi: Oh my God we should vote her out!
Tim: Maybe.
Sammi: I would vote her out. Let’s get majority.
Tim: Do you think we'd be able to?
Sammi: I think we might be able to.
Tim: I'm wondering if Andrew would be open to it.

Tim then wandered over to Andrew and they briefly discussed the vote.

Andrew: Don't worry. You're safe man!
Tim: Oh? Really?
Andrew: It's gonna be Clayton.
Tim: Oh, okay.

Tim realized that getting Andrew to vote Lisa would be a tough sell. Andrew was more than happy to stop by and give a confessional after his conversation with Tim. In fact, the producers had to tell him to keep his voice down, since he was so excited.

Andrew: Man, she's hot! Anyway, she's got personality alright! She's going to be a fun one to hang out with. I already have made a deal with Lisa, (and by the way, I made the alliance offer to her WAYYYYYYYYY TOO SOON!!! What the heck was I thinking?! At least she seemed understanding and I doubt I will pay for this mistake). And we've agreed to tell each other what the others are saying about us. Not too bad, we'll see how that works out.

I tried to warn Clayton about the Immunity challenge. I'm currently hoping to get him out first. Something tells me he's very dangerous to my game. I am controlling this vote for sure. I wanted Clayton gone and everybody's happy to go along with it. Even the ones who aren't that interested are going along with it because I tell them that everyone seems to want him gone, which is true, but I'm trying to make it sound like it wasn't my idea. After all, why let everyone know you are the mastermind behind someone's demise? That only puts a giant mark on your head!

Sammi, unaware of Andrew’s fondness for Lisa, approached him about voting Lisa out.

Sammi: I was talked to about Lisa, voting her off. She’s been rubbing people the wrong way.
Andrew: Huh? Interesting.
Sammi: Yeah.
Andrew: I've been talking to her a lot and she seems cool. Who's she annoying? Or rubbing the wrong way?
Sammi: Well me.
Andrew: Ah, I see.

With this news, Andrew skips over to Lisa by the coconut trees. Lisa must have noticed something about Andrew as he skipped over.

Lisa: LMAO @ stickman. When you say that I think of a tiny dick…
Andrew: Ouch! Bad news for you Lisa!
Lisa: WHY? PEOPLE ARE VOTING ME OUT?
Andrew: Maybe… I'm talking to Sammi right now. She hasn't voted yet but she's talking about the possibility of voting you out. But don't worry.
Lisa: Yah she hates me.

When Lisa was done talking with Tiny Dick, she ran over to Sammi and called her out.

Lisa: Lol @ you voting me out. Real cute Sammi. Is it because I’m pretty and your clearly not?
Sammi: Yeah prob.
Lisa: But really I’m not that easy to get rid of.
Sammi: Duh.

Lisa and Sammi bitch about each other to the camera.

Lisa: Ok ok. Everywhere I go I'm haunted with her witch like nose. It's depressing. One reason why Sammi doesn't scare me one bit in games is because she's an emotional wreck. She's pathetic. So really why would I be scared of someone who is emotionally a wreck who probably spends most of her time cutting her wrists - with the pieces of mirror she broke with her fugly face. Sammi is no competition to me. Sure she flirts like crazy - with a bunch of boys who lie to her and call her beautiful. Sure she is a phone slut - minus the getting paid part. But there is no threat in her weak character. I could destroy her and I plan too.

Sammi: So I realize that trying to rid of Lisa right now is super risky, but god I cant stand the girl and I want to rid of her so very badly. And people that... well most girls that feel threaten in a game always always ALWAYS are like "are you trying to get rid of me because I’m prettier" WTF. I don’t give a flying hell if you think you are prettier then me. You must think I’m just as shallow as you are. It’s so annoying when they bring that sort of stuff into an argument when that was never an issue in the first place.

I find, you Lisa, to be annoying and just ridiculous. You always think you have EVERYTHING under wraps when you in fact don’t. The people that like you, wee for them, but there’s more so that don’t then do. And quite frankly, I feel sorry for you. We could have a poll right now to who is liked more me or you and I would win by a landslide, but you know what I don’t even want to be bothered because I already know the results so it wouldn’t even be fun to watch you lose. So sad.

And then there’s Karilo.

Karilo: I think I'm in a good position. Lisa wants Sammi out... and Sammi wants Lisa out. I tell Sammi I would vote with her...and I tell Lisa I would vote with her. We were gonna vote out Clayton cause he looks gay.

And Preston was still at the top of a coconut tree.

As the day neared to an end and Tribal Council loomed ever larger, the castaways packed up and headed off to TC. Who will be voted out first from the Adimu tribe? Will it be Clayton, who strikes an uncanny resemblance to Ricky Martin? Will it be Lisa, who seems to have made enemies already? Or will it be Preston, the coconut tree boy, who refused to talk to anybody?

[Tribal Council]

The Adimu tribe filed into Tribal Council, one by one. Looks of gloom and fear were found on all of their faces. They all sat down and waited for Host Tyler to begin.

Host Tyler: First I’ll begin by asking questions to some of you. Lisa, has the strain of losing the first Immunity Challenge ruined your tribes’ spirit?
Lisa: No?
Host Tyler: Okay? Heidi, would it be fair for someone to vote someone because they didn’t perform very well in the challenge?
Heidi: Yeah it would be fair.
Host Tyler: Sammi, are you concerned that you’ll be targeted because you seemed to be one of the few who struggled in the challenge?
Sammi: If I’m a target oh well.
Host Tyler: And finally, Karilo, what are you basing your vote on tonight?
Karilo: I’m basing my vote on the person that is showing the least amount of effort. If we wanna win the next challenges, we have to have a strong team.
Host Tyler: Okay, with that, we’ll vote. Sammi you’re up.

Sammi stepped up to the voting booth and casted her vote. The others followed suit and eventually they had all voted.

Host Tyler: Once the votes are read, I’ll ask the person voted out to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I’ll read the votes.

[Preston]

Host Tyler: That’s one vote for Preston.

[Preston]

[Preston]

[Preston]

Host Tyler: That’s four votes for Preston. One more, will be majority. The next vote is for…

[Preston]

Host Tyler: The first person voted out of Survivor Envious, is Preston. Preston please hand me your torch.

Preston got up with his favorite coconuts and left the Tribal Council area without so much as a goodbye.

Host Tyler: Well it seems the tribe was very united in this decision. Maybe this will eliminate the weak link in your tribe and you’ll come back even stronger in the next Immunity challenge. Head back to camp.

As the castaways left, Lisa and Sammi made eye contact. Lisa winked at Sammi and Sammi looked down and walked back to camp without saying a word.

Tribal Council Results:

Andrew
Vote: Preston
Reason: Well, Preston. I wanted to keep you around longer, because you seem like someone I could work with, but unfortunately due to whatever reason, you never got on. We need to win challenges, so we need everyone that we can get to help us. It was originally gonna be Clayton, but he got on before you did and everyone started to feel bad about voting him out, and with Sammi wanting my ally Lisa gone, I had to switch the vote to you. Sorry man.

Clayton
Vote: Preston
Reason: Sorry, I didn't get the chance to get to know you, but I hear it was me or you... Gotta do what I can to stay... Sorry bud.

Heidi
Vote: Preston
Reason: He didn't help at all with the challenge, and I don't think he's even talked to anyone on the tribe yet. Inactives aren't very helpful so we don't need him.

Karilo
Vote: Preston
Reason: Everyone was set to voting out Clayton... but he showed proof that he was an active so Preston because he is inactive and I heard he eats babies! Eek!

Lisa
Vote: Preston
Reason: Because everyone else is doing it - I just want to fit in.

Preston
Vote: Self Vote
Reason: N/A

Sammi
Vote: Preston
Reason: I kind of had no choice. I tried to get the vote to go to Lisa, but some people just weren’t having it. Sorry kid.

Tim
Vote: Preston
Reason: I just haven't really seen him around much! I'm not sure that he's into the game. I really wanted to write Lisa's name down, but I guess this is the way it's going to have to go. Good bye Preston!

Next time on Survivor Envious:

Will Adimu be stronger with Preston’s exit from their tribe?
Will Sammi and Lisa be able to coexist in the same tribe?
And someone quits unexpectedly.

Stay tuned to find out!
