Ad Removal

Would you like the board to be advert free? Do the ads bug you? Do they not? Do you ever care? XD Please vote ^^

They don't really bother me too much. Though I agree that the lack of it would make the forum look so much more profesional. And I would chip in for the payment, but I have a bit of a phobia of online buying/selling/paying doesn't help that I don't have, nor have any intention of owning a credit card @__@

They don't bother me, with having them around for about a year since they first came on invisionfree to me, they are just there, but as I mentioned in the revival topic I could chip in. I could do at least 5 dollars a month, it's no problem.

Not bothered. They can be (sometimes) distracting, but it doesn't annoy me as much as pop-ups. Thankly, this board doesn't have it, considering I'm always active here.

Okay, i'm the only one that's said no XD. I think they're fine there. They don't bother me at all, and it seems a silly thing to spend money on.

But it isn't like everybody would be made to give something. If members here wanna spend their money on it than I say let them. No bad could come of it either way, if people are willing it's a small improvement to the place. And it could possibly add more life here as well, because maybe there is a few people out there who wouldn't join because TK is on invisionfree and not it's own host and the ads annoy them. ^^; I know when the first were put on invisionfree they bothered me like there was no tomorrow.

Kind of unbelievable someone could turn down ad removal from someone who is offering; lol.

They don't bug me at all. If anything, some of them are funny. I remember I was posting in 'All the People' and there was an advert for 'Kai Fragrence', which I found to be quite humorous. but other than that, when I'm on at school, it's juist a black bar with 'YOUR ACCESS HAS BEEN DENIED', so I don't see then most of the time anyway.

I doubt a significant amount of people wouldn't join because of a few text ads and the ocasional image ads. (which can be blocked by the image blocker for Mozilla Firefox).

People come here to discuss Beyblade and other anime, most people who have those interests are used to Invisionfree ads as a lot of anime-based boards are on InvisionFree.

It isn't worth spending money for the purpose of gaining a few members who don't like ads.

However, if people are still willing it's not like I'm against it.

Like the majority, I'm not bothered by the ads personally.

I'm not bothered. Wherever I end up on the Internet, there's usually ads there anyway. Does it stop me from going there? No. Unless, there's annoying pop-ups too. But there aren't any here, if I'm not mistaken :P

Not bothered. Ads are everywhere. Though if it's you're easily able to get rid of ads, by all means do so.

Trialling some ad-removal. US$5 gets you 1,000 page views ad-free. Which was £2.58 when I just paid a few minutes ago.

Just because I'm feeling nice. If it works out ok, I might do it a little more frequently.

For some reason, I never see any advertisements at all on InvisionFree boards these days, using Firefox anyway. I thought it was due to Zetaboards or some ad-block extension I use.

I agree with Snakebite though that it does look better now when using Internet Explorer.

You must be running a better ad blocker extension than I do Kuznetsov! Which one do you use, do you know?
