Well.. here's an explanation my friend gave me ^^
He is violent and aggressive, and like Rei, he practices karate. His trainer is Kai. At the beginning, they were friends, but now, they’re rivals. When he is fighting, he doesn’t care about his opponent's life. He can hurt him if he wants to like Bryan in the first season. Example? The battle between Garland and Tala. |

To add to that example, Garland vs Takao (Tyson). Basically he was punching and kicking the fo shizzle/crap out of Tyson as the battle progessed. And yes, there were scenes were you see the slow-mo of the punch landing on Tyson's face and the kicks and...yeah just terrible.
Garland is part of Team BEGA. |

Garland is evil who beats up Tala in a beybattle and I hate him.
Tala ended up in the hospital for more than 5 episodes. |

Poor Tala, I think I'll hate him for that, Tala is my second favourite character after Kai that is. I don't think I'll like Brooklyn either...he beat up Kai!!

Garland is apart of a well-known family. Every member has become the best at a single sport. Garland wants to become number one at beyblading, thus the reason he's blading with BEGA.
Some of you guys may have seen Garland making some wicked kicks. Did you know that his martial Arts style is the same as Bruce Lee's? Next to his blade (Apollo?), Garland treasures his family album which contains photos and stories of each family member's triumphs. To my understandings, Garland is captain of BEGA. |

I'd say this description is pretty off...First of all, Kai is not Garland's trainer. Not at all. They aren't rivals either. Plus, he isn't ruthless and wouldn't kill anyone. He just plays to win. All members of his family play to win, they must win. Yuriy wasn't good enough to beat him, and put himself in that much damage by constantly trying to win even though he was losing. |

Poor poor Tala....Isn't it just like him...does he become a weaker blader when he becomes good because in all the screenshots I've seen he loses a lot I think.
