Max X Kenny

I think this pairing is very cute and I would like to see them together.

Max and Kyouju?

I don't understand. I could understand a Kyouju x Takao, but not Max and Kyouju. no...

They make a strange couple but yeah it's cute .I prefere to see kenny with max than with takao,ray or even Kai o.o

Oh, god... does Tyson x Kyouju even have a thread yet? O_o That's one of my FAVORITE pairings overall. One that makes sense, too! Why would it get shaaafted...

Um, anyway! Max and Kyouju are pretty close friends, I'd like to think. XD Not quite on the Ty/Max level, but I like to think they're closer to each other over Kai or Rei. Tyson/Max/Kyouju have this sort of THREE AMIGOS thing going on, but if I think back to episode three, I know Kyouju *admitted* to Tyson that he was jealous of Max.

So you can take that in any way you want, really. Kyouju's jealous because Max was potentially stealing Tyson away from him, or Kyouju's jealous because Max was paying attention to Tyson instead of him. X3

It's not something I'm wild about, but I can totally see it.

Kyouju was jealous because Max was become such good friends with Takao... Not because of any romantic thing, I don't think. They were barely ten, for Pete's sake.

Well. I would think that TakaoxKyouju would be the more obvious pairing, but I can see how the jealousy issue would play in. It could work... then again, there's that old "Max is compatible with everyone" idea.. ^_^;

Takao's compatible with a lot of people too, although maybe not as much as Max and Kai. O_O And towards G-Revolution, Takao's friendship with Max and Rei seemed to shift more to Hiromi and Daichi, anyways.

So I don't see how Kyouju would be jealous, unless he's jealous of Daichi touching Ming Ming (that episode was crazy...) or Takao.

Rule #1: Realism does not = Beyblade. XD People slash Kai and Tyson left and right in G-Rev when they're 12 (or, Tyson's 12 and Kai's 14), which isn't really a huge difference from 10. And people talk about Rei/Mariah as if they're married already in the show, so... ages don't affect the logic of many, really. When you think about it, though, Japan has a knack for making kids WAY more mature/developed than how they should be at age 10. Digimon Tamers comes immediately to mind when I think of kids doing really deep angsting and having rhetorical questions about the meaning of life. That's why I kind of agree with the dubs making them older. If I'm not mistaken, Nelvana makes Tyson's age group about 13, which actually suits them a lot more based on their behaviors, IMO.

Either way, what we all see is different. I'm with lyrikkal on the whole Max compatibility thing, though. I can see that boy paired with pretty much anybody. X3 With Tyson, not really. But there's another thread where I rant about Tyson's.... uh... 'appeal'. But I'd like to think what I said originally can be taken in a platonic and romantic sense, if Kyouju were to ever think back on this a few years ahead and go "Hmm.... noooowww it all makes sense.."

Kyouju's jealousy only lasts for a short time, though. Before too long, he, Tyson and Max become the happy threesome of fun. :3

Well Max and Kenny is strange or at least I think so. I've never really thought of it. I prefer Kenny to be with others like Tyson, or Daichi, or Tala. But it seems cute and they are pretty close to one another, same with Tyson and Kenny. I think it could work out though, interesting pairing.

It's really hard to sing the virtues of Max with Kyouju without Tyson somehow hogging the stage and spotlight. For instance in season 1, Kyouju gushes about how badly he wants to stay with Max's mom and work at the PPB facility and then in VForce, it's Tyson turn to talk (repeatedly) about how wonderful she is for upgrading his Dragoon while in NY.

It's an anachronism, to be sure (since it's two different seasons), but it's almost like Tyson and Kyouju want to be adopted into Max's family. XD Of course, to say that, it suggests they're in it more for material gain than Max's endless overtures of affection. :3 Perhaps they do act their age, when it suits the occasion~

This pairing seems a bit strange. It's kind of cute though. I'd probably prefere Kenny with someone else.

They can be happy Max and wiry Kyouju.
