That's tough. I can't really decide on the best voice, but I do know that my favorite is Tala's. It has a certain kind of sharpness too it that isn't overdoing it and a demanding tone that should be expected from a leader.
You're right AngeLhearteD. Mariah does have a wonderful voice. It's not squeaky and very soft, which is different from poor Mathilda who is stuck with a slightly high-pitched voice. Yes, Brooklyn does sound wonderful when sane.
Kai's voice comes in an extremely close second in my favorites. It's so deep, though not too deep, and something about it that can make you shiver the first time it reaches your ears.
I've always thought Tyson had a high-pitched, girly voice.

In my opinion, Brooklyn has the best voice. I also like the voices of Hiro, Zeo, Kai, Ray, and Tala. Ok, I know Hiro and Zeo have the same voice but they do sound different. The only time Hiro actually sounded like Zeo was during the flashbacks to Tyson and Hiro's childhood.

Really? I don't think Hitoshi and Zo sounded alike.

Brooklyn!sane sounds pretty awesome, but I don't really remember the dub.

Out of all the girls, Mao received the best dub voice, and Matilda by far the worse... closely followed by Ming Ming/Emily/Hiromi/Mariam.

I think Julia had the same voice and Mariam, although it fit Julia better than it had fit Mariam.

Wow.
Okay, um, Mao and Salima, Judy, Queen (don't remember her voice) and Dr. K (don't remember her voice either) were the only girls that received dub voices that don't kill the ears.

Wow, this is hard. But i would have to say that I like Kai's voice much better, because it fits him. not only that but i was happy they kept the same voice actors throughout all the seasons. ^_^ But with that being said, i also liked, Tala's, Rei's, Brooklyn's, Max's, Takao's. You know... all the voices fit the character's i just perfer Kai's. :sweatdrop:

Sub voices?

Hm.

Takao.

His seiyuu is a female with a very sexy voice. ;O.

Second comes Ai Orikasa and her loverly "BOKU" for Maxie. xD

Mm, Garland did have Kamiya Hiroshi-san as a seiyuu... But he was better as Kouji...

You know when it comes down to it, it's extremely difficult to choose!

I mean especially when you include all the Japanese voice actors too it's like - AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

ALL their voices are great - I'm just gonna be difficult & leave it at that!

:D Really interesting topic though - it's harder than I thought...

Takao is actually not too annoying without his obnoxious dub voice...

Rei
Tyson
Tala
.........
and KAI. (Because a voice in my head say I have to write that... -,-)
... I sometimes wished Kai had Rei's voice... I just love it.
But that's just in season 1.

In the two last seasons Kai's voice have gone up (in my voice-chart-thingy)... or something.... hehe...

My vote goes to Gage Knox as Max, he portrayed Max very well and coped with doing the role brilliantly while his voice was breaking (which can't have been easy) and like many people have said Gage's voice breaking really added to the "Max becoming more mature" thing in G Revolution. On top of all that he made Max sound lovable and cute.

I liked the fact they got younger actors in the dub to do the voices of Tyson, Kai, Ray, Max and Kenny and thought they all sounded great, in the original version they were voiced by women and they all (with the exception of Takao) sounded too feminine but still I like Ai Orikasa's portrayal of Max (again she made him sound cute). I loved the impressions Tyson did throughout the Beyblade trilogy (the Kai one in Grev was the best!).

I'm going to do this dub first, because it's the one I've seen, but be warned that my absolute bias will seriously show.

I'd say that the dub for Beyblade doesn't make me cringe like a lot of the other anime's out there. I'm actually okay with most of the main cast; Kenny's VA wasn't bad, but his voice is grating and Max, Kai and Tyson did a pretty good job. Rei's VA did a really bad job. His voice acting sounded like something out of a C-rated Soap Opera. I liked this work the least. Daniel Desanto droned and said most of his lines absolutely without feeling.

This is based on memory, mind you.

Bryan had a very annoying voice from what I recall and Spencer didn't even register. Wasn't Ian's VA a woman? I remember that she did a pretty good job, but Tala's was the best. You seldom hear a battle scream with as much feeling as the one he gave in the final battle with Takao.

Did the same VA do Tala in G-Rev?

Original.

I was just going through the cast list on animenewsnetwork and there were a few names that jumped out at me.

The main characters all did great jobs. Makoto Kumai who I don't really know from anywhere else as the obligatory loud-mouth lead character; much like Paku Romi as Edward Elric. And I only know Rei's seiyuu as Sohma Yuki from Fruits Basket. The others obviously did great, especially Max.

Of the Neoborg, I only know Tomokazu Sugita as Sergei/Spencer and Takehito Koyasu A.K.A. the guy who is in every single anime ever as Balkov.

Back then the only seiyuu I really know was Yamaguchi Kappei (Ranma, Inuyasha) as Michael and Hoshi Souchiro (Kira Yamato) as Brooklyn.

None of this actually answered the topics question, but whatever.
