Chibi Group: Members Posts: 65 Member No.: 654 Joined: 12-September 04	Ok we all have seen the episode before the Bladebrakers get back together and they show Kai going to school where he will meet Wyatt * An overobsesser of Kai* lol ^_^ --> I am too but in a good heathy manner of course! We see that Kai's family is obviously rich I mean the whole butler calling him Master Kai so I was wondering why exactly does Kai blade and why is he so riach! any guesses are welcome!

Kai's grandfather is a rich old coot, and as Kai's dad seems to have vanished off the face of the earth, he lives (or lived) with Voltaire. As for Kai blading... in the anime, I don't know. In the manga, his father designed Beyblades, so he was introduced to them that way. Due to Grandfather Hiwatari (I won't explain the weird name stuff going on in the manga) kicking his son out because of his passion for blading, Kai decides he wants to destroy all the Beyblades. And.. Beyblading is his means of trying to do that. :blink: He does eventually give up on that idea, I think... Potential spoilers whited out.

Although, I think Kai actually likes to beyblade...especially against opponants who are more powerful than he is (he likes the challenge). Kai is rich because Voltaire owns a large company, which Kai possibly inherited. As for Kai's parents, they are not mentioned in the anime, but Kai does have a father who somewhat abandoned him in the beyblade manga, and a mother who is unable to protect him from his grandfather's ambition.

Woah Talk about harsh! :angry: Poor Kai! I would choose him anyday! lol! but thats cool noodle is that only in the French manga?

French people never invent such things ... It's probably from the original Manga, or at least the English dubbed one.

nope, i'm thinking they translated it into french from english, cos its available in english in austraila. theres a LOT of weird stuff in the manga, tyson pees a LOT, and max is a lot more aggressive....would anyone be interested in me scanning some of the pages? hopefully getting a scanner this weekend! :D
