Maybe Tala's a girl. :D

J/k... but I'm surprised nobody mentioned the last names yet.

Takao - after Aoki Takao, the mangaka.
Kinomiya - Tree (o_O?)
Kai Hiwatari - Fire
Max Mizuhara - Water

...and according to one site...
[hiwatari] (n) walking over fire or burning coals

I believe 'ki' means 'energy', unless it has various meanings.

Wow, yes! I never noticed that some surnames are attribute-based. That makes sense because of the bitbeast's element.

Good work, guys ^_^

According to the Japanese dictionary, Goki means tone, manner of speaking or the other one "Honourable Spirit"

Reikon (when put together) means ghost :sweatdrop:

That would fit a bit better, I suppose. Although, judging from Dragoon's attacks, I'd guess it to be more of a wind/kaze element. Hm.

Enrique is apparently the Spanish version of the name Henry... and has the meaning "Rules his household."
