I checked Trojan Asune-A and google it says it affected operating systems are Windows and the side effects are Downloads codes from the internet.

Hmmm I keep getting a Norton Antivirus window saying that a virus tried to infect my harddrive, but it stopped it. Perhaps it is this Trojan?

Well it could be anything. I can't remember if Norton makes a log of everything, but if it does, it would probably say what it is. But the fact it stopped it means you probably don't have any reason to worry :)

While the first one is apparently a genuine program, the pop ups are just adverts and SPAM and are best ignored. If you're getting them when you're not even on the internet, then you probably have some SPAM/ad-ware on your computer. Use an anti-spy/adware program like Aw-Aware and/or Spybot and see if that helps clean things up a bit for you.

What browser do you use? If you get a lot of pop-ups, I found that switching to Firefox really helped me out. Something to maybe try out if you haven't already. Link in my siggy.

I guessed it was SPAM 'cause every 5 second it poped up.
And it always is trying me to say yes, while I always click on the red squre. o-o;

The truth is I have tried to download Firefox, I'll download it later after all my exams.

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything on Asune J, only A and D. Which anti-virus programs do you have?
Also, if you have a virus, you should turn off system restore (if you're on XP) before you try clean your system, or system restore will just put it right back again!
I suggest maybe trying out Mc Afee's Stinger program (http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/) and Trend Micro's Housecall (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/) which is an online virus scanner. Perhaps one of those two might help. Avast (http://www.avast.com/) is also a good, free virus scanner if you haven't already tried it.

I currently have Picillin 2002, SpyCatcher and SpyBot. Spybot I just download last week since everyone says its very good and stuff. I really doubt that, it just takes away the pop-ups I have hidden.

I'll give all of them a try later, thanks Elisa. =3

Hope some of those work for you ^^

Spybot isn't an anti-virus, but it is very good at getting rid of spyware and adware though ^^.

Other, is my computer says I have a Trojan_Asune.J.
I have over 3 anti-virus and none of them works, either all of them are crappy or this Trojan loves me. oO;

First, that stupid ad has been popping up for me too. Its getting reaalllyyy annoying.

Second, have you tried going to the source of the file. Right click the infected file -> read only -> apply -> then try deleting?
It works for me on occassions 8D

---

Okay, its virus season 8D Or not, I don't knwo if there is one, just a lot of people have been getting bugs on their comptuer.

So I have a problem too.

File name is: KBDITE.dll
I've located the file but can't delete it. Says that "the program is being used" and to "close other windows before trying again" when I don't have any other windows open. Its causing me a hell lotta problems and my NAV said when it was trying to quarantine it, the action failed.

Anyone got a .dll remover they can recommend? Or any other way to get RID of the file >w<??

Snakebite: What I reckon is that you have something either on your computer trying to download worms, or something has just targeted your computer. As long as your virus scans and stuff come up clean, I don't think you have anything to worry about as Norton is blocking these worms. This kind of thing just happens sometimes and I can't really suggest anything else I'm afraid ^^;

Hikaru: Bit more complicated advice here. Got a couple of suggestions to get rid of the file. Firstly, try staring up in safe mode [How To Link], then try deleting the file. That might work.
Secondly, if that doesn't work, while in safe mode, open up the Command Prompt function, which should be under Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt.
This will pop up a little black and white window with some writing in it. I'll assume you're not familiar with DOS, so please excuse me if you are ^^;
Ok, with the command prompt open, you should now see some writing along the lines of
CODE
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator

typing cd\ and hitting return will get you to C:\>
Now, to try an delete the dll, type in del then the location of the file, eg:
CODE
del C:\WinXP\System\sillydll.dll
then hit return.
Hopefully, it should delete the dll! Make sure you get the right file though.

Hopefully some of that will help. Good luck!

"Cannot delete KBDITE: It is being used by another person or program."

That's what happened when I tried both ways you suggested.

Any others u__u?

Hm, this one is sure being a pain. Well, I have another suggestion, but I don't know how well it will work, but it's worth a go.
First of all, download Hijack This.
Run Hijack this. Click on None of the above, just start the program.
At the bottom right, click [/b]Config[/b].
Click Misc Tools.
Click Delete a file on reboot.
Find your file, then click Open.
It will ask if you want to restart your computer now. Click Yes.

I've never used this program before, but it might work. Have you also tried running any ad/spyware removal programs? They might be able to help.

I'm out of ideas I'm afraid :( Sorry I can't be of more help.

Since I'm here, I suppose I'll ask.

Whenever I try completing a virus scan for my computer, it only scans about 100 files before giving me the message that it was unable to complete the scan due to some missing components in the scan. Whenever I open up Microsoft Word, I also get that same message, but the document/file opens anyway. The same thing also happens whenever I am recieving a file over MSN.

Any advice in particular? I'm not sure what I should do now.

Raine: Sounds to me like your anti-virus program might need re-installing. Seems like it's lost a few bits somewhere o_O; Or you could see if your anti-virus program has a repair function. Sometimes if you put in the disc and tell it to install without uninstalling what's already there, it'll ask if you want to repair your installation. Depends on what you're running as an anti-virus program though.

Good luck :)

You should work at Symantec, Elisa XP

Watch out for SpyFalcon and other IE BHOs.. use something like BHODemon; fixes any browser hijacks straight away ; )

Late reply, I know.
It didn't work ^^U But it did delete some odd spyware that was on my computer. I think I'll hunt around for some other answers but thanks for your help ^^
