I tried looking for the forum topic, seems no one has posted a thread... This is the latest anime ive been tracking!! Imo its like Never ending story meets Naruto meets Buddhism! It also has a more 'western' style of comedy to it without shaking authentic Japanese style of animation.. but yeah I'm not king of reviews so ill put the wrap up here and give it a solid 8/10! ^_^

Summary;
In a lost age, the world is divided into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called the “benders” who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and elemental magic. In each generation, only one bender is solely capable of controlling all four elements. That bender is the Avatar. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony. Then, the firebenders attacked. Just as the world needed the Avatar the most, he mysteriously vanished. A hundred years later, the Fire Nation is near final victory in its ruthless war of world domination. And when two siblings of water nation find a kid in a block of ice and find out that he’s the Avatar, they try to safeguard the child Avatar in his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.

I wouldn't really classify Avatar - The Last Airbender as an anime, myself but there's been some debates on whether or not, it is an anime.

Anyways, I really love this series. It's refreshing to watch and is one of my favorite series. Honestly, I'm really not looking forward to the movie that M. Night Shaymalan is creating. He basically white washed everyone except for the Fire Nation. The Fire Nation is made up of East Indians. >:/

I really wish that Hollywood could've chosen better actors for the movie.

I never really got the chance to watch the full anime/tv show, but my boyfriend was into it not so long ago and the few episodes I watched seem pretty cool.

About the movie, he also says that they cut almost everything to try to fit it all in one movie...
