Earlier talking to a friend about roleplays and looking through the General Roleplay and Beyblade Roleplay forum, I've noticed there's a lot non-active topics and ones that haven't been touched in a year or longer. Maybe it's time for a clean out of those forums so there ain't so many pages? We also noticed there's a lot of topics made by the same member, maybe something can be done about that? I've seen quite a few pages which have roleplays made by .. like the same person with maybe 4-6 made by other people. It seems like, to me, they start a roleplay, get bored with it, and create a new one that's basically the same with no plot. Not that's it's a bad thing to roleplay, but you know.

And I mean no offence to anyone, so don't yell at me as it was just a suggestion. oo

I guess I'm one of those people who makes to many topics ^^;, the forums do need a clean out though, and only 2 to 3 people seem to actualy roleplay...

I like to roleplay, I love it. On the odd occasion I do see something here I wish to participate in, it's usually good. But I second the motion for a much needed cleanup. Especially of the general RPGs.

Hm .. just a thought, maybe if we organize the sections better it might bring in more roleplayers and less mess? Like for the beyblade roleplay maybe pin a topic for Characters, although I thought at one time we had one that Kraize made .. and maybe a sub forum in General RP for different character selections? Just an idea, I know at the few forums I goto they have that but this is a bigger forum than them so I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea with anyone else. Maybe some basic roleplay rules? Just trying to suggest ideas, not trying to sound strict or something. .-.

General RPG has RPG 101 AND the RPG rules, but maybe they need revising...

I mean like, maybe some rules to do with the characters. I've noticed a few roleplays where some things can't happen/ain't possible, for some of the anime and movie roleplays. Just for example, like in Naruto, it's wouldn't be possible for Rock Lee to learn any jutsu's since we learn earlier on he could never do them and can only use taijutsu.

Like how we had a subforum in the Beyblade RPG forum, Beybattles RPG, make a subforum for any roleplays. Like have a single topic for all Naruto characters, a single topic for Harry Potter characters,Xmen, Fantasy Creatures (Elves, stuff like that), ect.

I never cleaned the RP topics as I didn't want to delete anything that anyone might want to look back on later. Will give it a clean up now though and move any long RP's to archives incase anyone wants to re-read them later.

As for extra rules, well I think that should really be up to the maker and players of the individual plotline to outline what can and cannot happen clearly at the start of the thread. Everyone has their own RP style afterall and some people like to change canon plot, or add rules about what abilities characters can or cannot have etc. What's important is that everyone in the rp agrees to what rules and restrictions they want to follow ^^

I would be happy to make some subforums if that's what people want. What categories should we make? For the time being, I only want to make categories for the most popular themes, after that we'll see how it goes ^^

Do you mean like a subforum for a certain anime or something? The most popular I saw was Pokemon and Naruto. The only subforum I could think of would be that one for Character Selections, any others would be up to you.

Yeah I was thinking of sub forums *nods*. I could do ones for Character selections then pokemon and Naruto I guess ^^

But not right now as I'm on a bit of a dodgy computer. My own computer decided to die quite randomly when I plugged my MP3 player into it o_O; I'll update the forum categories when I get my computer fixed ^^;

Ok, my computer is kinda fixed, so I've put the new forums up. :) Hopefully they should work ok, if anyone has a problem, let me know. I think I screwed up a few settings so I'll go change those now.

Let me know any RP's that need moving over, I'll move the obvious ones across. Cross-overs can go wherever it seems they fit best ^^

Quick question, since we have a subforum for Naruto and Pokemon would putting a Naruto character selection in it be okay? And it would probably be best if it were pin, than we can use the Character Selection subforum for the others beside those two.

Besides the obvisious Naruto and Pokemon Topics, the only one I see needing move is the Inuyasha Select one.

Yes it's ok to put a Naruto character selection in the Naruto forum :) If you make a thread I can pin it ^^
