All right! Here we go, everyone, the basic regulations for Twin Falls. I'll try not to make this too tedious.
First, the obligatory forum rules:> No godmoding/powerplaying, meaning that you absolutely cannot take control of another player's character or have a character than cannot lose/be beaten/be hurt/etc.
>Be kind to other players and to the admins. After all, roleplaying is for fun.
>If things are going to get graphic in your thread, pm an admin for a password to the mature boards, so nobody stumbles up and reads what they don't want to.
>Be literate. There's no post word limit here, but please. No one liners and absolutely no one or two word posts. Try for at least a paragraph. Please and thank you?

As for swearing in character, it's perfectly fine, except for most of our words don't exist on Pern, what with there seeming to be no concept of the afterlife ( "Damn" and "hell"), slang evolving differently and whatnot. A list of Pernese oaths can easily be found on the internet with a quick search.
>Please put your characters in your signature. SIGNATURES CAN BE AT A MAX OF 162 PX HIGH. If we see a sig that is too large, we WILL tell you to change it, or will do so ourselves. Don't argue about this. Also, for dragons speaking, please use an appropriate color and italics. Use italics and normal color for the rider speaking back. feet. As in, Ramoth the largest queen to have existed was 45
feet long. Some weyrs use meters. Using meters would make Ramoth as large as a jet, which seems rather unrealistic for a living creature that has to live in a weyr.

We will not be accepting any more gold or green firelizards at this time.>There will be no felines as pets on Twin Falls. They just aren't domesticated on Pern. Canines are okay though, but remember: they have to be roleplayed too, like all pets.

However, this doesn't mean you absolutely cannot do that. It just means there is a chance the mind of your dragon will be harmed by what you did, or some other terrible thing might happen to them....

And now, for an Important Note If you have a candidate character, please, do not keep hinting what dragon color they want, especially if it is a female character who would like the queen. There is one thread, and one thread alone, in which they can voice their opinions on what colors they would want, and that would be the "touching the eggs" thread right before the hatching.
For example, if you have a girl who wants a green, have her make sure to touch all the smaller eggs and avoid the queen egg, and maybe thinking about how she thinks the smaller dragon is better suited to her.
Likewise, if you have a boy who wants a bronze or brown and is scared of impressing a green, have him avoid all the smaller eggs and touch only the large ones.
-I will have your candidate Impress a trundlebug if you do the 'and the golden dragon stared into her eyes and she knew it was for her...' That bugs me and I will slam you for it.
