8/12/10 - Hey everyone, this is Black Angel, I written you this notice to inform you of the fact that currently, the servers hosting our forum have been experiencing some trouble and were offline for the time being. If you were trying to access the forum earlier, and couldn't, the following is the reason why.

At around 9PM (EDT) we suffered a very serious DDoS attack against our network that is still ongoing. The site is being put online because we've been able to diffuse some of the flames. We know who is responsible and are working on bringing some justice on that front as well as trying to improve things on our end.

I apologize deeply for the downtime. These people do not have regard for how many users they're causing pain for and I will be doing something about it.

Please note that the forum is currently back up and running

and as far as I can tell, there has been no data loss, however, as soon as I was able to login, I did back up the forum. With that being said, it should be noted that our primary domain, twilightcafe.org is NOT working for the time being, and has NOTHING to do with the recent downtime.


The reason the http://twilightcafe.org/ domain isn't working temporarily, is because, after having learned of the downtime, I had decided to point the domain to the old forum (this one) with an explanation of the downtime, and with my contact info, so that you know how to contact me. I logged into my domain ACP, and had successfully pointed it to the old forum, however, I had trouble adding the domain to the old forum's domain settings.


After about an hour of trying to get it to work, I had decided to change the domain BACK, to the original settings, and unfortunately, I am unable to change it back to the original settings until 24-72 hours from now..


Please note that there are 5 domains associated with our forum. Please bookmark these links so that you will always have a working link. All of the domains point to the forum except "twilightcafe.org" this domain should be working again in another 24 hours or so. So please use the other domains to get to the forum. Because they all point to the same forum, this means that your login info will be the same.
