Sample: Yuf Antuf, nephew of the all-famous painter, Ruf Antuf (who called him Speedy), lay on a hard, rock, floor. He saw a man, standing in front of him. The man walked towards a glowing stone. Yuf wondered who the man was, and what he was doing. And then, a flash of light shined, and blinded him.

Yuf woke up. He was lying in bed, in the Paint Workshop on Therma. Yuf came from Strata, but his parents sent him to live on Therma over the summer. Yuf was 11. It was the year 2000. A knock came on his door.

"Aye, wake up, Speedy! You've been talking in your sleep!" a voice said. Yuf immediately got out of bed, he realized he was dreaming. The voice was of his uncle's, Ruf Antuf. Ruf was his father's brother. "Hurry up! There are letters for you, and breakfast is ready!" Ruf said. And so, Yuf looked into the mirror in his room over the summer. His hair was messy. His pyjamas were wrinkly. "Just perfect," he thought. He got out of his room.

And so, Yuf got out of his room and greeted his uncle. "Hey, Uncle Ruf, are we having snortus and eggs today again?" he asked. "Yeah, Speedy. Again," Ruf replied. Yuf grinned. Uncle Ruf's snortus and eggs were the best, Ruf was Sneakerboy's chef when Sneakerboy was just a boy. He hadn't thought the dream at all again...

Try to remember to put two spaces after your elipsis (three periods "..."). Also, sentence starting varieties are key. Don't start every sentence with a pronoun or the character's name. Avoid starting sentences with "and" or "but", as well as sentence fragments. Also, I'm sure you've heard, "Said is dead", at school or elsewhere, and if you haven't... well, I'm saying it now. There are other ways to state that someone's said something, other than actually writing down "said". Your writing kind of... bores me - no offence intended. Try to remove filler words from your writing - I know it's because you don't know what to say, but with time that'll probably change, when you actually start roleplaying (I say this because I know you're a first-timer).
