There is no Heaven, no Hell, no re-
incarnation, and no passing into a
peaceful slumber. Everyone who
has ever died comes to the Mirror.
Souls awaken to find themselves
in a land which is a reflection of the
world they left behind and in their
bodies at the age they were the
happiest within life. As Wizards
and Witches and Muggles faced
eternity they formed the societies
which they had left behind. There
are Quidditch teams, schools for
those who died before they reached
adulthood, and even a Ministry of
Magic which is charged with keep-
ing the peace in the mirror and the
dead from interfering with the living.
There is no Magic which can bring
back the dead, after all.
