Collins opened the door to his office and let Angel in before closing the door behind them. He sighed and walked over to his desk, opening a drawer and taking out a large stack of papers. He opened another drawer and pulled out a red pen, reconsidering and pulling out several as he glanced at the huge stack of midterms again. When he was finally ready to start marking, he turned to Angel to speak.

"This won't be any fun for you honey, are you sure you don't want to go home or anything?" He asked her, feeling guilty for dragging her to his office on such a nice day. He shuffled his papers around, looking for a good one to start with , while he awaited her answer.

Angel stared around the classroom as she walked in, trying to picture Collins teaching a bunch of students. "Hmm?" she asked, turning to Collins. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, honey. I'll stay here and keep you company." To tell the truth, what she really wanted to do at the moment was cuddle a bit, but she didn't want to be in the way. Instead, she settled onto one of the hard chairs, wincing slightly as one of her fresh bruises got bumped.

Collins opened another drawer as he listened to Angel speak, taking out his reading glasses that he only used when marking his students' work. He slipped them on and looked up at Angel as she settled herself into one of his students' hard chairs. Seeing her wince in pain, he realized that she must've been hurt much more than he figured when she pulled him out of the elevator. He looked back at the paper in his hand, but was unable to focus with her sitting there, in such obvious pain.

"Ah, screw the stupid midterms," He said, placing the paper in his hands on top of the pile and putting his glasses back into their drawer. He proceded to do this with the rest of his supplies and then walked over to Angel. "Screw the entire American educational system. I can't let you sit here like this. We're going home." He grinned and took her hand, pulling her up from the plastic seat and holding her close.

Angel looked up, somewhat surprised, as he came over and pulled her to her feet. She nestled close, asking, "Are you sure? I mean, if you need to work..." she trailed off. It wasn't that she didn't want to go home; she wanted that most of all right now. But if Collins had something he needed to do, she'd wait. For the moment, however, she snuggled close to him as she awaited an answer.

"Don't hide it baby, you got hurt when you helped me get out of that elevator. You need some rest and relaxation. My baby's more important to me than a bunch of work-obsessed morons who don't pay me enough." Collins grinned as he rubbed circles into Angel's back. "Come on Angel, we're going home."

"Well, okay." She smiled; if he was ready to go home, she certainly wasn't going to protest further. Angel let out a happy sigh as he started rubbing her back, burying her face for a moment in his chest, then pulling back slightly. She took Collins's hand, still smiling. "Let's go."
