Saturday, the 4th, I am leaving on a road trip for New York City, Boston and New Hampshire with some friends and family, to all the East-Coasters out there, would anyone recommend seeing anything at one of these places? Just looking for good sites and food basically.

Eat the over-priced food at faneuil hall, then go see our awesome Museum of Science, then go check out our Freedom Trail because AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!

If you were going a little further south I could recommend all kinds of places instead we're going to have to hit this in broad strokes. If you want truly great New York food you have to get out of the Disney area of New York City and by Disney I mean the fake touristy part of the city, like Times Square. There's a million great restaurants in that place but you have to go off the beaten path into the gritty parts of the city to find them. If you're not willing to risk have a bad meal then you could miss some really great experiences, take a chance you'll hit more than you miss. As far as things to do, check out the Book of Mormon on Broadway and you'll head to head to the cellar one night. Basically you want to recreate the intro to Louie one night you're there.
Now one of the best states in New England for food is Rhode Island. Head on over to Providence get yourself some Johnny Cakes and some Dough Boys. Its not too far off your route and its worth it.

Bro just take a short detour on your way south and head over to Portland Oregon. It's only like four days out of the way, no big deal. Then I will give you the sickest places to go.

Thanks for the great advice I look forward to taking that advice, the whole super-tourist thing does seem a little over the top. We planned some stuff that mainly strays from that, just some Cirque du Soleil, and a few sights around the lower east side and I look forward to going to a more obscure spot to eat. For New England, that's actually some great advice. So thanks for the tips, I'm looking forward to it. Ps. Zil, WAIT A MINUTE

If you're making it out to Providence get yourself some coffee milk to wash down those Johnny Cakes.
