I don't think too many of us (us meaning me) are interested in Hogwarts any more as most of the canon/plot characters have graduated. Should we scrap the teachers and all of the non-interesting-just-student people, as well as some of the forums and make more outside Hogwarts places? (maybe even head over to America for some fun? Not necessarily Houston.)
And we need to come up with some more plot points. |

Come to Spokane! Lol. We have a small Wiccan community here that occasionally gets an article written about them on Halloween. "These women are real witches, but they don't ride broomsticks." That kinda stuff. They never give their real names to the newspaper, though. And they don't let their faces be photographed either.

i don't think padfoot wants to move in the pagan direction, though it could be pretty fun. the shock of the pagan community when they realize there are POWERFUL witches and wizards out there.

Ar you saying that pagans aren't powerful? mean, obviously, they don't shoot beams of light out of their wands, but that doesn't make them weak. I'd say they're ridiculously powerful, for muggles.

that's what i mean. our magic is sublte and takes MUCH concentration. no levitation or flashes of light or big booms. no stereotypical displays of magical power. they're not ridiculously powerful, though. they tend to overinterpret everyday things as magical phenomena. ie, if it rains within three days of performing a rain spell, is it you or just the natural weahter pattern? lots of people would say it's their doing.

Or maybe without pagans, there would be absolutely no rain in North America and every storm everywhere is caused by a pagan's prayer. You never know! ^-^

lol, i was watching this documentary about native americans and sand paintings. they'd never finish one, because they were all supposed to be very powerfully magical. anyway, some of these sand painters were invited to the modern art museum in NY (though sand painting is hardly modern...) and the museum begged them to finish just one painting.
'sorry sir, we can't do that. if we'd finish this, every woman in manhatten would be pregnant tomorrow'. -------------------- ![]() |

^-^! I *LOVE* that. So what about the unfinished ones? Did they not get any women pregnant or just like a few or just the ones not on the pill or what? That'd be a really interesting experiment.

magic only works if the spell is finished.

Oh. I suppose so. *feels somewhat stupid*. So how unfinished do they have to leave it. What's the name of these sand painters anyway? I want to look them up on wikipedia.
