We are glad to have you here. Register to be able to start topics and RP with everyone else on the site. Latest News: Up and running! Silent Castle, after two years of being run and RPed on by simply the administrators, is now open to the general public. Important Note Before Registering: Please register with a first and last name, such as Mary Sue. Please, no mary_sue, MarySue, xxmarysuexx or Sue, Mary. No sugarsweetbabe or @ngel, please. Your Sorting Hat application will not be accepted if you register with such a name. If you mistakenly give yourself such a name, please PM an admin with a request for a name change. Before doing anything else, please read the Rules. This is extremely important. Your lovely administrators are Moony, Bean, and Padfoot. Feel free to contact any of us if you encounter a problem with the site. Please, please, please read the Rules before posting in the Sorting Hat after registering. Please. We beg of you. Furthermore, it is not only in our best interests but in yours, as you must supply us with the secret word to prove that you are worthy of joining us at the site. The link is located just below the banner, I'm sure you'll be able to find it. The current plot is being worked on. If you've got anything to add, then post in the topic titled 'Plot' in the 'Plot' forum. I know that's tough to remember, but I have confidence in you. Rules

1. This is not a porno site. I repeat, not porno. Nothing inappropriate. If one of the Administrators sees that you have posted something innappropriate, your account will be deleted immidiately and your IP address will be banned.

2. If your character is mean, that is fine, but please do not be mean OOC. These are people, not computers. Behavio(u)r such as this will deserve a warning, and excessive amounts will result in deletion of account and banning of your IP address.

3. Do not lie about who you are. There are ways of verifying IP address locations, and just because this is the internet and you can get away with lying (usually) doesn't make it right. So please don't. If you don't want us to know something about you, just don't tell us. You don't have to lie about it.

4. No excessive cursing. The consequences will probably be being banned for some time or a warning; whichever the situation calls for, even if the secret word for the Sorting Hat is I am a Holli clone.

5. No more than 20 characters. For now. If our members grow, then I will change it. But for now, 20 is the limit.

6. Have fun.

7. PLEASE follow the plot.

8. If you are in the plot, and have not posted in a long time, you will be removed and your spot will be given to someone else.

9. No veela, werewolves, animagi, etc. unless you have permission from an admin or are playing a canon character and you have to (ex: Sirius Black)

10. Avatars and banners must be appropriate. If one admin sees ONE that is inappropriate, all your accounts will be deleted and you will be banned. And you will forever be laughed and jeered at.

11.Double posting is ok sometimes, but no triple and quadruple posting.

12. If you are an admin, don't abuse your power. FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!! For example, no weird word filters or taking other people's characters.

13. Never diss the rabid iguanas. OR the blue-footed booby birds.
