Help with mini-boss!!!

Hey I am Having a real hard time with the mini-boss, Forgot the name of her but she with Dodo so you should know who I mean...ok Dodo takes geno all the time cause I leave him in the middle, but geno not powerful to fight him by himself, what do I do? plus I got no healing items and I cant leave or buy more, plz tell me what should I do?

keep trying is all i can tell u... also if u dont have peach in ur party then put her next to geno so dodo takes geno and peach can heal when he ges back. u just have to be good with timed hits when it comes to dodo.

Use Mario, Bowser, and Geno. Dodo usually takes Bowser when I do that, and he's got a ton of strength.

Ya my partners and mario is at lvl 14 I think, Geno got the weakest def which sucks cause hes my favorite character, so I let Dodo take Bowser right? cause he got the best def...and I dont use peach too, I never did used her onces in my life lol, anyways I try your trick with bowser, thanks alot

14 huh??? the first time i played i was lvl 16 when i got to bowsers keep and beat the game at lvl 19

I was level 21 when I did that. And Dodo always takes the middle character so put bowser there.

Dodo took Peach from me. I know shes weak, but she won! If she can do it, than Geno can too. I was at level 13 with Peach(yeah,low level)

Bowser seems to be the best choice because of his good attack and defense. Anyone else will get creamed pretty much.

Ya I still didn't played yet cause I been so busy with school work, dang...

I beat Dodo and Valentina on my first try.

When I did it Dodo took Peach.I beat him easily.I also had a ton of recovery items.

What he said, Peach is a good choice for healing reasons.
On my first file, he took Bowser; I died fast. Then he took Geno, I kicked his sorry ***!

Would I be correct in assuming that most of you don't bother leveling up your party to 30? There are several great places to do that.

You mean Valentina! I beat her without losing my first round with her because I was on a really high level.

Dodo took Bowser and I punched that bird's lights out without much trouble since my level was high.

Ever sence I said I couldnt beat them, I still never played yet but, Can you guys tell me whats the easyer way to beat them, I never did used peach onces, NOT ONCES, so I have no idea what attacks or def she gots, I used Mario(duh), Geno(onces again, duh), and Bowser.....(no I not saying duh, oop)...Bowser and Geno pretty good oh and by the way, all my guys are lvl 14 I think, it been so long...anyways for all that help me thank you all

USE PEACH! She can heal and heal and heal and she has the best magic defense.

When I got to the birdie I was at least above 20, and If I can remeber I beat it with Mallow with ease...

Mario, Geno, Peach. Best combination right there(with HP boosts)!

Guess what, my whole comp got deleted cause of the infected files...so I have to start all over all super mario rpg, oh well, maybe this time I will have a better chance of beating Dodo and Valentina, Anyways this time I will buy lot of items before going to battle them ^^

You could also invest a little more time levelling up. I don't think I've ever had any trouble from Dodo and Valentina.

Maybe it was because I was going to fast and trying to beat the game, plus I skip alot of bad guys...But this time I going to try and get to lvl 20 for all my partners before I get there again ^^

How are you not at level 22-25 by Nimbus land? Especially at Dodo and Valentina. Am I the only one who plays through Forest Maze fighting everyone? Yes everyone in every screen!!!!!!!

I agree Bowser is the best choice when fighting DoDo but do be sure you dont skip monsters. Its best to level up before you fight bosses.

I've always had Bowser in the middle when I fight Valentina and Dodo.

With Valentina and Dodo I usually put Geno in the middle for Dodo to take (my party would be Mario, Geno and Peach) and made sure I had plenty of mushrooms in case Geno needed them. Then when the Dodo battle begins I'd Geno Boost Geno and have him attack, and when his HP got low I'd give him a mushroom.
