What do you think my level should be when I enter the Pits of 100 Trials? I went in at level 28 once and I got to floor 90 but I was low on items so I went out. When I went out, I was at level 30. So does anyone have any tips on the Pits of 100 Trials or on BoneTail?

I was at level 33 and barely Survive Bonetail.
This should help.
Items:Life Shrooms,Mushrooms,and Honey Syrup.
Banges-1:any badges that increase Attack,Defens,Increase star points when Appling or when you use those Style Move.
2:Spike shield
I heard that someone beat it when he was at Lv4.Is this true?

Spike shield is definitely a must when getting through the pit, it just makes things so much more worthwhile. I also recommend getting enough star points so that when you level up near floor 30, then you should be able to level up again before you reach bonetail (cuz leveling up heals you completely).

I think it is, I surfed the internet and found a topic on a message board that explained how this guy beat the pit at Lv. 4.

What you need to do is cook Ultra Shrooms and Jammin' Jellies together to
make Jelly Ultra (heals 50 HP and FP), that way, you can carry more items
that you need, and still keep the 50 goodies!

You could do it the super cheap way. Get as many power rush badges as you can equip and keep one partner with less than 5 hp at all times (especially partners that have multi-enemy attacks, like Vivian). If you do this right, a fiery jinx can inflict 40 hp or more per enemy. It doesn't feel right, but those badges are available to you and there's no limit to how many you can have, so technically it isn't cheating. I use it as a last resort (when I only have a few hp left, no items, and I'm on floor 85). On Bonetail, keeping Yoshi and/or Goombella in danger will do the trick.

That's basically the same thing with Danger Mario but with your partner. I don't like doing that because it feels like cheating to me...

I never got to try that because I would die and a Life Shroom would bring me back. I was mad! angry.gif I have a better strategy, and it works. Hint: I am an Hp and Defense-obsessed psycho!

Dried Shrooms can be quite useful if you're trying to keep a partner in peril (and don't carry Life Shrooms as tempting as it may be).

If you have Flurrie in your party, beating Bonetail is actually quite possible. If you keep Flurrie in front and keep using her Lip Lock move while Mario replenishes FP when needed, I guess it could be done.

However, if you were level 4 when you started and had to kill everything in the pit, wouldn't you have to have levelled up a few more times?

Darn how do you people get to the bottom of the pit? I find it takes too long if you have to fight 100 monsters.

I know but you may have to miss them but you should get the Treasure on floor 50! It's very importent and then exit then restock on more items then return.
But I was talking about from floor 60-99. Here is a questen. who knows what item that Bonetail Protect? Just say I do or I don't. Don't say what is it.

i'd use action replay. to get to lvl 99 of the pit rite away. I wonder what 2 return postage badges would do.....
this lvl 4 guy could beat shadow queen at lvl 10
I suggest getting Power plus, power plus P, and full star power.
go to the twilight trail. after you actualy get into the forest, attack the 2 dayzees, if you see an amazy dayzee, use art attack, and then goombella's multibonk if your not sure you hit it enough, or just headbonk. make sure shes grade 2 with ultra stone.
if you get one, keep getting them and use stylish moves with goombella or fights without the amazies. now, once you've beaten the 2 in this area, go to the next area with the badge block and beat it. then go into the stump and go into the deep forest, come back out, and go back into the area with 2 dayzees, and they should respawn. after that, go into the gulch again, (you dont have to use the warp pipe) and go back into the forest, badge block, repeat. level up til about 34 and get 2 power plus badges. I require HP to be 40.
