You have 18 BP?... What have you been levelling all this time?

Anyway, I would have recommended a load of different badge combos, but 18 BP is hardly enough to equip most of the utility badges, let alone the useful moves :\ So I'll say this: Special moves are better than items. SP are replenishable mid-battle. Items are not.

That aside, you should still keep healing stuff around for emergencies... Jelly Ultras are useful, so are Whacka Bumps if you're low on money. And you'll want to make sure that you have at least 3 or 4 Life Shrooms, as well.

Jumpman, spike sheild, ice power, flower saver, heart saver, defend plus, multibounce, peekaboo, power plus.

It's kinda pointless to go through the pit AFTER you beat the queen but whatever.

Stock up on ultra shrroms and jellys at the pianta parlor.

really? ultra shrooms.. i think you dont need it... i prefer not to use rare objects when you can just regualr ones just as much. You can stock up on Life shrrooms though, buy em at some shop where its really cheap ( i think the great tree shop)

equip the FLOWER SAVER BADGE and PIERCING HAMMER BADGE,or sumthing like that for bonetail
you will be able to hit him, full damage for a whooping 1 BP... its really beautiful and its like 8 dmg
oh and put a atk. up badge for mario so he deals another point of dmg. Your parteners are expendable, so dont equip anything for them.

Too many low health increasing items takes up item carrying space ( ie. super shroom ). Go for the complete health recoverys and victory shall be yours!

And use Goombella with her extra attack ability. I was able to dish it out to Bonetail 18 damage at a time.

Expendable?

I was actually relying on Flurrie to take all of the hits... since, y'know, she has that draining attack of hers. A few Power Plus Ps, cast Power Lift at the start and keep reusing it when it wears off, then she pretty much never takes any damage. And that makes Mario nigh-invincible too. :\

You really don't need any more than 35 HP to make the game horribly easy... But maybe that's just me.

well its not like its that mario and luigi kind of teamwork, all you need is one partner the whol most of the round
and i didn't use flurie the whole way until the 100th level where she actually saved my life biggrin.gif , so fine your arguement wins

and i remembered that the badge you switch partners quickly, i think "quick change badge" (i really need to play this game again) really helps

and super shrooms? i was talking about easy to make high quality cooked meals (like maple schrrom which gives 10 fp and 15 hp or sumthing like this but better)

Oh, Quick Change rules. I'd say it's the most useful badge in the game, but there's Spike Shield and Power Plus as contenders.

You don't need high HP if you have powered up moves, good badges, and is a pro at supergaurd, which makes all other defense moves obsolete.

Finish them nice and quick, I hardly needed to use a partner until level 40.

I was able to get lucky. I leveled up right before Bonetail and healed fully. If you can figure how to level up at least near him it would be good.

Try looking for Amazy Dayzees, I heard they give lots of experience points if you defeat them without letting them run away.

A ton! Even at a high level you get a ton of experience from them. Just run back and forth through the woods. You may notice a pattern in how often they appear. I can't remember about how many times I passed through before a reappearance though.

They're rare, though... the Pit is sadly the more consistent method of finding them. I wish it'd give you the exp when you ran into them with Bump Attack, but no dice. >_>

I GOT 100 STAR POINTS FROM GREEN FUZZYS!

Play against them in the Glitz Pit and don't do what the anouncer tells you. You can get 100 points and then play them again for another 100.

All of you guys are wrong man!! Each level gets harder and harder! You need Ultra Mushrooms and Jammin' Jelly. By the lvl 70, i bet you guys would be mroe serious because of those Purple Thieves. They are hella strong.

I usually used Bobbery since he was the strongest partner for me. I upgraded all my characters to 2 starred-level. If you dont know how to get the 2 star level upgrade. Finish the trouble center task the one with the magician asking for something in Hooktail's Castle.

Bonetail was hard but kiled him in the 1st try. If i died, i wouldve got really mad bcos all my hardwork on going through all those pits were gone.

I mostly care about my HP and FP. The only badges that are essential are "Spike Shield", "Power Hammer", "Power Jump", 3 "Attack Up" badges, 2 "Defense Up" badges and etc. Those are excellent badges.

Some essential partners are Flurrly(that could women), as well as the Shadow Siren and of course you goomba partner. Sorry that I have forgotten most of their names.
Peekaboo is not nessesary because have your first partner that will give you the info on the enemy as well as permanent viewing of the enemys Hp, although I do not sujest you use it later in the pit.

Why not? Tattle on the first turn, Quick Change allows you to switch to a more durable partner afterwards if you have to. At most, you lose one turn which wasn't going to be that useful in the first place. Unless you heart Multibonk.
