Ideas for the 3rd game!!!!, Wouldn't it be awesome???:lol:

Hmm.... have you everwondered what the 3rd game might be like. I was hoping it would be the end of the world or something like that. Like some kind of monster was created by Dr. Egadd by accident and it soon became extremely powerful and destroying everything in its path, it would grow larger and larger every time it gains some vim, (the blood of toad) and tiny soldiers emerge from each step it takes and destroys all the land in the world! Meanwhile mario and luigi travel back in time in search of the babies, and they go back to the future. it'll be the same piggy back ride or all four could be separted. Meanwhile bowsers kindom gets stomped on and all his troops die, now bowser has nothing else to do but just walk around all pissed off and whatever, later on in the game bowser join the mario and co. and together they go on a perilous journey and kill the monster!

Whats your idea? You decide!

I know it will probably:
1. Feature a new villian
2. The new region has it's own counterpart of normal mushroom kingdom enemies/residents.

But what I'd like is:

1. No Bowser fusing with the villian to form the final boss
2. Bring back the Beanish
3. Have Mario/Luigi in battle with temporary 3rd members depending on where you are (Peach/Prince Peasley could of helped in the 1st one)
4. Maybe as a new element, some bosses could have Mario fight on the top screen and Luigi on the bottom for big bosses or something.
5. Have Daisy/Wario/Waluigi make a cameo appearence

Yeah they should include wario and waluigi, i really think the babies should come back though, they were AWESOME!!!!!

Maybe Wario. Not Waluigi.

I actually hope they don't make a third game. They don't compete with the others

in opinion super mallow, the mario and luigi series were a hit, i thought the first one was the best out of all of them.

Eh, the Paper Mario Series and Smrpg have all been more popular amongst the general crowd. Every Paper Mario game is better than the first to me, and the first is far superior than the 2nd. The 2nd...was really not good

i kinda liked it but it was pretty short and easy

I like 'em all though.

I was hoping that since mario and luigi just traveled through time they could do another science fiction stunt like the mario bros being teleported to a reverse dimension where an opposite of everyone exists! Like Wario and Waluigi are the duo in the other side and princess daisy and some other random stuff like that........ and yes im a paranormal researcher.......

I really didn't like the time traveling thing at all.

It was just like having a center town which opens to other areas. I was hoping it would be more like Zelda where you have to travel between 2 mirror dimensions or something like that. The time traveling was pointless since the present was basically like Toad Town, Rougeort, etc.

i kindof liked the time travel thingy, but i hated walkin around the mushroom castle too =P

The main problem was that Nintendo didn't use the present at all. I thought for sure the Shroob would find a way to come to the present and you'd have to travel through there. But no, the present is only for the castle, that's it! ARGH!

I don't know if I am the only one who thinks this, but shouldn't the third game be more similar to M&L SS or an original storyline? Even though I am working on Super Mario Bros. RPG, I still going to try and help think of some good ideas for the third game.

Anyway, I was thinking. Instead of putting Mario and Luigi too close together, they can be apart, but still together. (Giving the Bros some breathing room and allow the option for Co-op play ) With the advantage of being a little bit apart, the Bros. can unleash even more unique Bros. Moves.

Mario: Leap Jump: (Outside Battle) Mario take a couple steps back from Luigi and takes off in full speed towards Luigi. Then Mario jumps onto Luigi and performs another jump on Luigi's shoulders, but at the same time (or close to the same time), Luigi will grab on to Mario's legs which will cause both Bros. to reach further distance.

Luigi: Spring Jump: (Outside Battle) Luigi jumps on Mario which will turns him into a spring. Then Luigi will jump on Mario to reach the higher ledge, but the impact of Luigi jumping on Mario will cause Mario to bounce off the ground, turns him back to his original form, and lands on top of Luigi.

I don't have the During Battle information yet, but I will soon enough.

In my opinion, they shouldn't make another Mario RPG with the same setup as M&L or PM. Instead I'd like to see a more SMRPG-like RPG with a whole party. I wouldn't mind if it was made by the same people who made M&L games though, because they were pretty good games. This would also add a lot more potential for Bros. Attacks, there could be a huge amount of combinations and whatnot. I guess they wouldn't really be able to call it just Bros. Attacks anymore though.

^ Isn't Sonic Chronicles for DS a lot like that JJ?

And yes Shine Ninja I agree, M&L:SS had an awesome story.

Anyway, I have a new idea. Weapon Badges!!!

Propellor Badge: Use a propeller.
Piranha Badge: Use a Piranha Chain

Also, we should bring back transformation item!!! (Fire Flower, Frog Suit, etc...)

Water Bubble: Transforms Mario and Luigi into Water Mario Bros.
Gyro Tornado: Transforms Mario and Luigi into Air Mario Bros.

I am keeping the names simple to make it like the original Super Mario Bros, 3 and World. Good times, good times indeed.

I never proprosed Mario & Luigi 3 either. I said I wanted another SMRPG, maybe made by AlphaDream. Is that so wrong? Unless Square are up to it, in which case, I would gladly settle for that.

But in case you forgot, this is "Ideas for the 3rd Mario and Luigi", not "Decide if Mario and Luigi 3 Should Exist or Not and be Replaced for Another SMRPG." That is not knowing your place. It is ok to talk about Super Mario RPG in the Super Mario RPG topics, I'm ok with that, but when you go into this Mario and Luigi topic, diss it and then deny it, that is crossing the line.

We all got our opinions about SMRPG and Mario and Luigi and I try to be as positive and original as I can, but before, Legacyofbob told me that Luigi didn't exist in SMPRG. That got me steamed. I warned LegacyofBob he won't get away with telling me that Luigi wasn't in SMRPG. And he got what was coming to him. Now, your telling me that Mario and Luigi 3 shouldn't exist. (Don't try to deny that either.) I prefer not to do this, but you leave me no choice.



Whew. I almost did something I was going to regret. And the Phoenix Wright stuff was just for fun. Oh, and by the way, I'm not normal, I'm original!

The World:
Coral Kingdom: I wanted to be similar to Mushroom Kingdom and BeanBean Kingdom. Give it the old Mario and Luigi charm.

The Major Non-Playable Characters:
Iroti: Iroti returns from Super Mario Bros. RPG to aid Mario and Luigi in their quest.
Atashi: Also from Super Mario Bros. RPG, he's here to unlock the Mario Bros. true Bros abilities. (Not just Bros. Move, but other abilties as well.)

There are certain parts of this that i actually agree with. And some that i don't.

I do agree with the part (to a certain extent) where JJ says they shouldn't make another Mario RPG with the same setup as M&L or PM. If they keep making sequels to a game the exact same way but just change the storyline, its going to get REALLY repeatitive. In Paper Mario (excluding Super Paper Mario) the teams you had got really repeatitve(atleast to me) from game to game. M&L, as much as i liked the first one, i did not like the second one. Maybe it was the storyline, maybe it was the fact that u had to keep going back in time, i dont know but i just didn't like it. So ya there are parts that i like about each game, and there are parts about JJ's thoughts that i agree with and some i don't.

Don't mean to start an argument or anything but this is true. I wouldn't mind seeing a third M&L, although it would have to be a lot better then PIT to make up for the sort of slump the series went in with this.

You're missing the point. I just want him to quit being so aggressive. I honestly don't see what I did to deserve that... but this is getting us nowhere fast. I want everyone to drop the subject, because this is getting out of hand.
