wow who would of thought that while nintendo was fighting sega at the time they would cause sony to come alive... and the online one... i am happy you posted this!

It was called the dolphin. GC, DS, and Wii all had codenames before their real name. GC's was Dolphin. If you read they were gonna do starcube but decided to go with Gamecube and this is while it was still called Dolphin.

I knew the codename was Dolphin. XD

It was meant to imply that I didn't know about Starcube. XD

I wasn't AS surprised about the wii in 2001, games take time to develop, as well as consoles

No console takes 5 years to develop though, none ever as, I guess Wii holds that record now.

Oh, I can see what you're saying.

I remember hearing there were lots of new designs for the Wii and they had to sort through them.

Makes me wonder if MS, Sony, or Nintendo have started on their next console.

Microsoft has. No name or anything like that, though.

There was some guy from Microsoft on X-Play and he said that. No details whatsoever though. Had to keep it a secret.
