Title: Tales of Vesperia
Description: Radiance Paladin Review #6

The Radiance Paladin - August 21, 2009 04:07 PM (GMT)
Tales of Vesperia

Publisher: Namco Tales Studios
Developer: Namco Bandai Games
System: Xbox 360
Type: Role-Playing
ESRB Rating: T
Players: 1-4
Playability: Like other Tales game, it's very easy to master.
Replayablity: Low (The one flaw is that once you finish a Tales game...there's almost no point doing it again.)

Gameplay: (The gameplay falls into two categories, Exploring and Battling)

Exploring: Exploring the world of Tales of Vesperia is like taking a field trip to Disney World. I haven't when to Disney World yet, but I felt it's pretty beautiful to explore. Unlike the other Tales games, Tales of Vesperia have major side bosses lurking around in some dugenongs to give the players a good fight.

Battling: The battles are pretty intense, but simple once you get uses to it. And for the first time, most of the move you'll learn are brand new to the Tales series, but some moves like Demon Fang and Tiger Blade never grows old. Also for the first time, there are encounter links. Encounter Links occurs when you enter a battle and if another emeny is nearby the enemy you've touch...then that emeny will join the brawl. With twice the monsters, you'll have a ball killing them all. Have fun.

Storyline: The storyline is pretty cool. You'll start out as a man name Yuri Lowell, a cool looking man with a even cooler attitude. He always travel with his trusty compainion, Repede, a dog-like creature who use a dagger to fight. His mission was to find a theif that took a pericous blastia from his town. Yuri hunts his down until he was caught by Twiddle A and Twiddle B (What does that suppose to mean anyway). After Yuri beat the crud out of them, he was escorted to jail. There, he met a weird old man name Raven. Raven got Yuri out of jail and Yuri tries to make his espace. While escaping, he saw a girl name Estillie or Ellise for short and she was looking for a man name Flyyn, Yuri "friend?" With that in mind, they both made their espace. Later on, you will meet friends that are both cool and rememberable...sometimes.

Overall: Next to Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Vesperia is a game like no other...it got the most pelicular characters into one team...and somehow they manage to pull it off. Tales of Vesperia gets 8 "With thou cry unpawn victory) "or something like that"...out of 10.
