Title: Way too easy...
Description: worst in the series

I beat this in 2 days and there was no challenge at all. Unless you suck really bad at action commands this game is the easiest mario rpg there is. If fact, there is barely any strategy involved. It is pretty much all action commands. It is also very short. Each level is basicly the same with 1 or 2 challenges and then the boss. There are new enemies with each level, but you still use the same attcks. You don't really learn any new moves, you just get more items. The boss fights are long and annoying. It takes about 100 cannons (one of the items) to kill them. Every boss only has 1 or 2 attacks. Another annoying thing is if you miss one def action command you lose half to all your health. I don't recommend this for anyone. Definately the worst in the series.

cmon, you have to give it some credit, it was good gameplay overall and it was fun too. Also, that's why its too easy, you bought too many items. your allowed to, but if you just use your badges, jump, and hammer then it would challenge you. I played through with items, and then without so I could find out the hp of the enemys exactly for my walkthrough. I liked it a lot though

I just think that The Big N could of made it a whole lot better.

If we could use the touch screen more, that would be cool, but its already made so we cant improve it

Use the touch screen more? They didn't use it even once!

The game had awesome new gameplay moves with the 2 screens and the bros items and the 4 people. Although it failed to have what any RPG should have. Long game, hard (sort of)

Why does everyone think that just because the DS has a touch screen then every game has to have it? Not every game would be good just because you can use the touch screen. Sometimes I need analog control with a joystick. Super Mario 64 DS would have been better with it. I hated the D-pad on that game so I used the touch screen. It was irritating. Plus, isn't the Metroid game gonna have touch and shoot? So now, when your in a wi-fi match, people who have the worst aim are gonna have it easy because they just have to double touch their target. So back to the topic, M&L 2 would have been worse if they threw in touch screen features just for the heck of it.

It doesn't matter touch screen or not it was the worst game in the series.

I really liked the game...
I thought the game was good, i mean sure it had room for improvement, but it was good. i liked the whole travel back in time thing...it should have been longer but still, it was a good game.

it wasn't the lenth, It was just repetitive. Each level had the same puzzles and you never learn new attacks.

Actually I like this game. I wouldn't say its the worst, but I wouldn't say its the best either. I don't dislike any Mario RPG.

This game can be real hard. It's hard for everyone I know except me. I have 2 friends with Paper Mario 2. Both are stuck on the Bowser-Grodus battle. Why? One's only healing items are mushrooms cause he used all the other ones. Same with the other one, he just has 1 Ultra Shroom. Also, in Mario and Luigi 2, I have a friend who used all his 1-up mushrooms on the Swiggler battle. So I think the games aren't easy. You are just really good.

Why did you bring PM:TTYD into an M&L 2 topic?
Kirbyfan103 - February 8, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
Even if I don't have it, it's still pretty good.

I only just bought the game last week. I was dissapointed with the story, look, and the game play of the first Mario and Luigi, and I was really hoping this one would impress me more. So far it's not really holding my interest at all.

I thought the game was good
and are vs. allowed on this website(game vs. game)
PaPeRmArIo - February 26, 2006 07:50 PM (GMT)
I've heard that this game was way better than the 1st one..

Yeah, M&L:PIT was easy, but it beat#1 by far. The battle system owns ML:SS. =P

It would of been cool if you could of visited future versions of yoshi's island and bowsers castle. It was a lot easier than the origianl. There could of been somre side quests.

Exactly! I was so dissapointed that you go nowhere in the present, but Priness Peach's Castle. I hated that!!! When Bowser, captured Peach, you should've like chased him to his castle where the time warp he falls in is, or sumthin.
