The wall was solid stone, worn and aged from thousands of wars, countless battles and stormings, and the unrelenting of nature itself. Though the wall was still sturdy, it now had clear indentations, easily converted to foot and hand holds. The only way to penetrate the Keep seemed to be up.

The climb would be a long one, many of the cracks housing strange animals that were probably mutated by just living in Noctum. If the wild animals weren't enough trouble, some of the wall was still unstable and collapses away from too much weight and leaving sharp edges. The higher you go, the fall is more likely to kill you and it seems the top is beyond forever.

The gate was made of strong wood, lined with iron and steel rods across it. Guarded on both sides by demon guards, it would take a stampede of elephants to slam through successfully.
