Alex almost spat out his tea in surprise, almost. "Margot? You're in the prides box? How... oh Alder right?" He said with a nod.
She was sitting next to him, he liked it but it made him uncomfortable having her so close. He had been sitting in his chair very relaxed and without a care, now though he was sat up and looked anything but relaxed. He took a drink of tea, a source of calm serenity in a world of chaos. Sometimes he hated being British, he was sure that an American guy would just waltz up and ask her out while being all cool and swarve.
"It should be an... an alright match." Alex said in a none committed way. "Do you support puddlemore then?"

"Light actually gave me a key," she corrected, "I haven't seen Adler yet - I don't think he's arrived. I actually haven't seen him around the house much either... Wonder what he's been up to." She shrugged before continuing with the conversation.

"Alright? Hopefully it'll be brilliant - it'll make for a great story." And I'll never let Light and Adler live it down if they don't win.

"Yeah I support Puddlemere! Who do you support?"

"I hope so, I could use a good story right about now." Alex told her.

"Yeah I support Puddlemere! Who do you support?"

"I don't really have a team, I just like watching a good game. I'd considering picking one but I have to remain impartial so it suits me fine." Alex told her and managed to hide his surprise at managing to say a couple of sentences normally. "Would you, erm... like a, a tea or something?"

"Ah, I see," she nodded, "I guess impartial is the way to be, then, seeing as it's your job and everything." Her blue eyes watched the field where Light was up to more shennanigans. "I hope his game is as good as his sense of humor."

"I'd love some tea," she said congenially, "Especially since I'll probably be yelling myself hoarse."

Chris followed Light and did loops and such. He looked over and saw that they had spelt out, Go Prides.

"I'd love some tea," she said congenially, "Especially since I'll probably be yelling myself hoarse."

Alex smiled, he had a tendency to do that when Margot was around. "Just don't overdo it and lose your voice, that would be a problem not even tea can fix." He told her and took one of the cups from the table. Before he had arrived all he had asked for was a pot of tea, luckily they had given him multiple cups. He poured her a cup of tea, which was difficult because his hand started to shake ever so subtly, and placed it on the table in front of her.
"So, erm..." Alex said struggling for something to say. He stopped himself asking 'do you like quidditch' and saying 'good weather for a match' as they seemed stupid. He couldn't think of anything, he panicked. "Good weather for the match, you know... erm... good, good visibility." He was positive that it would have been better to say nothing...

"It's cool." Chris said nodding, "But I don't know what you've gotten me into."

"Yeah, should be good for the seekers at least," she said, wiggling in her seat a bit. She was so excited for the game to start.

"I think I'm going to set up and interview with the Ministry for next week," she blurted, practically beaming. "Got my resume together the day before yesterday. I think I've read Fantastic Beasts about five times over..."

"That's great news," Alex told her honestly, "I... I think you'll be great at it. I mean how... erm... how could they say no?" He had no idea if that was the right sort of compliment, he wasn't very good at giving compliments, or receiving them. Actually, when he really analysed it, he was very good at saying anything. "One day I might even have to... erm... interview you. About, you know, erm... issues and stuff."

James hung around the entrance the Falcons dressing, hoping to see Danie or Nina, two of his friends from Hogwarts. "If I'm lucky, maybe they'll let me in their box" he thought to himself

Nina rushed around the corner headed to the Falcons Dressing room, she was late and she knew it. She noticed James standing by the entrance and as much as she wanted to stop and talk that just wasn't an option at the moment, to make up for it she tossed her set of box keys to him. "Keys to the falcons box," she shouted as she past "meet me after the game, I want those back." she smiled as she walked through the doors.

Maddox entered the Stadium fifteen minutes before the game started. She was always punctual, even at events where she had little interest. However, she did take interest in the first quidditch game of the season. She climbed carefully up the stadium steps and entered the Ministry Box. It was at the exact middle of the field and level with the goal hoops - the best view in the entire stadium. This was just one of the perks of being the Head of the Department for Magical Games and Sports - luxury treatment at any event.

"Cheers Nina!" James yelled after her as she sped onto the pitch. He hurried up to the Falcons' box and openned the door. Plonking himself down in a comfy armchair to await the start of the game. He sneakily took his Catapults' hoodie off and hid it, it would not be good if a Falcon's reserve came in and saw a stranger wearing one of those!

((FROM THIS POINT ON - No OOC posts. No posts if you are not one of the teams playing. If you get confused, take another look at the rules. PM me if you have questions - you guys know I'm on every waking moment smile.gif ))

((The Falcons beaters will be playing as chasers, due to need of players. Olivia Gaines will play Keeper for the Prides unless Cedric shows up.))

Qwiv's pocket watch whizzed to life. It was game time. Moving to the center of the field, he beckoned to the players. Although normally he was on very friendly terms with all of them, today he was wearing his game face. He didn't play favorites among the teams. He gave each player a serious look. "You know the rules. Keep it clean and fair." Kicking open the chest, the two bludgers soared off to opposite ends of the field. The snitch rose into the air before disappearing out of sight.

Qwiv held the quaffle in his hands before a second, then threw it with all of his strength - straight up into the air. His whistle blew.

The first game of the season had begun!

((Again, stick to the rules, guys. If someone posts while you are posting, just edit your post appropriately.))
