Cherry flew upward with force, her Nimbus 2001 working keenly on making its way toward the quaffle. ((I want to be a reporter character so I decided to write an example article instead))
Last night I went to see a game between 'The Prides' and 'The Falmouth Cannons', and as expected it was a brutal confrontation. The cannons are known for their foul play and last night was no exception. For the record, the prides won at 340 to 120, but in this game no one was paying attention to the score.
The Falmouth beaters began their path of destruction earl in the game when Markus Riley collided with Oliver potter to stop him catching the snitch and ending the game early. We all know how big markus is, so for all our muggle born fans if you imagine a bug hitting a windshield you might get an idea of how it looked.
Michelle Marin remained relatively unscathed throughout the match as she glided between beaters and opposing chaser alike. Though here's a hot tip for anyone thinking of asking out the enchanting miss Marin, don't get on he bad side. After a particularly nasty tackle on one of her team mates Michelle threw her beaters bat at the beater with such force that it knocked him clear off his broom. Markus, the beater struck, was riding at full speed on his firebolt at the time making this one hell of a shot. The question has to be asked, why isn't she a chaser?
The game came to a swift end four hours in when Potter spotted the snitch, the beaters tried to intercept again but luckily for Potter Cherry McDoozy flew in to their path and took the full force of the hit. Potter caught the snitch, the Cannons lost, McDoozy was sent to St Mungos, and Michelle Marin could be on the verge of a bright new career.

BRIEF RPing sample: After graduating, Chris was unsure on what to do. He looked at some jobs, but he knew that he wanted to play quidditch. But, was he good enough? Finally, he had gotten a spot on Pride of Portree, as a Chaser. Today, was his first game, and he was ready.

Gripping his broom tightly, Chris walked out of the locker rooms and into the stadium. It was massive. He didn't even know that stadiums could be that big. He looked up at all the people and felt like he was gonna puke, but he didn't. He didn't want to create a bad picture of himself. Listening to the rules, Chris was ready for the game. Finally it came.

Chris kicked off the ground, and since it wasn't muddy, it was fairly good. He had one of the best brooms, and lucky for him, he seized the quaffle first. Dodging the opposition, Chris was going towards the goals. When he was in scoring range, he shot as hard as he could. The Keeper easily blocked it, and Chris turned to defend. Man, he thought, I gotta get a little better if I want to keep my spot.

Suddenly the other beater started yelling to her "WATCH OUT!!!!" the bludger was headed very rapidly for the seeker from behind...she grasped her bat tightly and zoomed after it as fast as she could...WHAM !!!
The bludger was out of the way. Danie had turned her broomstick sideways and came crashing the bludger right before it would hit the seeker. Its direction had changed and it was now headed to one of the other team's chasers...

Aislin scowled and glanced up at the steely gray sky looming overhead. The faintest traces of a grin crawled across her lips as she trudged across the muddy brown terrain, the earth squishing unpleasantly beneath her boots. She normally didn’t practice in this sort of weather, but in all honesty, she loved it. She carried the broom slung haphazardly across her back as she made her way to an area of the field where she was sure to have no trouble from wandering muggles. Once there, she mounted the broom and kicked off from the ground as a crack of thunder rolled through the air, her grin widening as she did so. She picked up speed so rapidly as she took off that her knuckles became white against the handle. She took the ruddy quaffle she had tucked under her arm and tossed it into the air before swiftly diving down to catch it before it hit the ground.

His sweaty hands fumbled to a get a good grip on it and he grunted with surprise as the powerful throw rocked his broom enough to make his stomach lurch. Paul righted himself and hurled the ball upfield with all his strength. It landed safely in the hands of a friendly chaser, and Paul breathed a sigh of relief. "Nice save mate," commented a nearby Beater. Paul have him a quick smile and thumbs up before returning his focus to the game.

For his age, Gav had been quite full of himself as a player. With such grace, he cruised around on his broom as if he were better than every player on the field...including his very own team mates. But, even he knew that he couldn't get everything done on his own. "Players make highlights but, teams get wins" had always been a motto that he lived by and it certainly kept him grounded. A quaffle floated toward his patted mits and the chaser refused to take another second to let it fly on. It was then that he mounted his broom as if it were some type of skateboard and made his way to goal. "Ahh," he smirked while keeping his eye on his objective. "Seems a bit like this little keeper wants to have a go at this Falc, eh?" It was then that he preformed full back flip with his broom in hand before spiking the ball directly for the goal...or the keeper's head. Which ever it'd reach first.

BRIEF RPing sample: A blue streak raced through the air. A tiny flash of gold was darting at a slightly less rate of speed in front of the blue streak of the French National Team's seeker. The red shirt of the Wales seeker momentarily blocked Theirry's view of the snitch. He accelerated hard, going towards the right of the Wales player. His padded elbow shot out towards the outreached arm of the man in red. The blue streak jetted past the red blur ever closer to the tiny gold flash. Thierry's gloved fingertips touched the wings of the snitch, it rebounded and flew straight at his face. Letting go of the broom, LaFleur snatched the golden ball out of the air with his other hand. France had won: they were through to the next round.

BRIEF RPing sample: Just like the last time they had played in Scotland, the weather was unbelievable. Jamie could hardly see through the sheet of rain that was crashing down all around him and the wind whistling in his ears almost blocked it the sound of the excited,cheering fans completely. His whole body seemed to be frozen in place and he was having trouble keeping his hands from sliding off his slender, mahogany broom. He knew that he had to get a move on however: they needed to be a further thirty points ahead to be able to advance in the league, assuming of course that they caught the snitch.

He wheeled himself around and surveyed the pitch until he spotted his fellow chaser who was being harassed by two members of the opposing team. A bludger whizzed past his left ear and one of the light blue figures was knocked to the ground, leaving his team-mate free to move away from the remaining player. Here!, he called to her, although he doubted she could hear him in these conditions. But sure enough, the Quaffle came flying in his direction and he lurched forward and caught it before zooming towards the goalposts with it tucked neatly under his arm.
