It was another busy night and the Italian Restaurant was bustling with customers, the night life of Nether nearly as active as the days in some parts of the city. Baeden seemed to flow through the crowd, tray perched on his hand casually as he swerved and avoided obstacles with ease. "How may I help you?" he asked, pausing by table eight and mindlessly writing down their order, hardly even registering what it was. He slipped away seconds later, moving through the kitchen to drop off the order before moving to the hostess station. "Table 5 is open." he muttered, a lone drinker leaving one of the double tables. The hostess nodded and turned, waving forward the next customer.

Lilith smiled and walked forward towards the table the waitress was instructing her to. She didn't usually come to restaurants, but tonight was a special occasion, she had been laying low around the city, and she wanted some posh blood. It was the best, not necessarily the actual blood, just the satisfaction of taking down the higher members of society. She sat down at the table, her smile showing her fangs as she waited for service to arrive. The waitress who had led her to the table was gone, already onto another table serving other customers, Lilith had seemingly chosen quite the busy night to come here. A waiter walked up to her, ready to give her a menu.

Baeden saw the fangs of the girl as he approached the table, flashing his own fang filled smile at another vampire, and quite an attractive one at that. "Good evening, my name is Baeden and I will be your server today." he said pleasantly, handing her the menu and taking out a notepad. "Can I get you anything to drink this evening? We have a fine selection of blood." he wondered if his boss would let him take his break right now, though of course he could honestly afford to lose the job. He always seemed to get hired whenever he applied, whether it was his reputation as a freelancer or his natural charm he was not sure. Of course he wore slightly different clothing than normal, his hoodie replaced by a gaudy work uniform he thoroughly loathed.

She took notice of the sharp fangs in his mouth, glad to see another of her kind. He was quite handsome, the waiter thing really did work for this 'Baeden' fellow. She kept the alluring smile on her face, taking the menu from him. "I wouldn't mind some blood, can I have the chilled blood please mate?". She handed him back the menu, truly she hoped to find her old friend Freya after her meal.
OOC: Sorry crappy post, the 'mate' thing is a bit aussie whoops xD

"Of course miss," Baeden replied, taking the menu and grinning. "coming right up." he spun on his heel, sweeping across the floor with unnatural grace, weaving through the crowd easily until he reached the kitchen. He slipped the order to the staff and tapped his manager's arm. "Sir, may I take my break here sometime soon?" he asked, smiling just enough so that his fangs were visible. He knew that they would help unnerve the portly man, and he was right. His boss just gave him a brief nod, wiping his forehead as he turned away. Baeden laughed, grabbing the chilled blood from the counter and moving back towards her table.

She waited patiently while Baeden went and got her order. She twiddled her thumbs as she waited, bored already. Lilith noticed that as Baeden left, he seemed to hover through the crowd, a skill she did not have, nor want. She smiled again as he returned with her drink, taking it eagerly from him. It had been so long since she had actually ordered blood, and since she had talked to another vampire since Freya. Her purple hair was messy, she hadn't bothered to put much care to it.

Baeden casually took his name tag and slipped it into a pocket inside his jacket. "Excuse me, but I just got off work and wondered if you would let me join you." he said with a smile, hoping that she would accept. Come to think of it, he wondered who their waiter would be now that he was not working anymore. It could be rather funny to give orders to someone who he usually works with, and if the service sucked then the boss would hear about it. "It will be on me, I insist." he always paid for the girls, that was just how it worked. Besides, girls liked the nice gentlemen and he enjoyed being one, so everybody won this way.

Lilith returned the smile, he seemed to now be on his break. "Thanks, you seem to enjoy being a gentlemen eh?" She always loved gentlemen, actually scrap that. Lilith loved chivalry, it just seemed like a good way to see things. "So I noticed your a Vampyre Baeden, I was wondering if you could help me locate a certain someone." She drank some of the blood, and sighed in delight after the cool liquid slipped down her throat.

Baeden smiled, catching the eye of another waiter across the restaurant. he nodded, raising two fingers, and the other man nodded back before rushing to the kitchen. "Well I would be more than happy to assist you," he replied smoothly, enjoying the wordplay. "but I still do not know who I am eating with." the waiter he had nodded to stopped by, placing a glass of slightly warm blood in front of him before taking off once more. He liked his blood fresh and warm, as though it had come straight from someone's veins. He did like to feed on actual people, but of course he would only do it on willing victims and leave them alive. He was not a murderer.

She slipped into the room, keeping her eyes downcast, not entirely difficult for her, she wasn't in the best of spirits. A seating hostess walked up to her, "Uh, do you have a table for-" Her sentence cut off abruptly, she caught sight of that telltale flash of purple hair. She didn't know to react to that, she half wanted to cry, bash her head against the wall, part of her was genuinly happy to note who was there, but that was overwhelemed by anger, and to her astonishment the tiniest tinge of hate. "I'm meeting someone," She said hastily, sweeping past the hostess, not quite caring enough to bother if she was being rude. She approached the table, her hands balling into fists. She failed completely to notice the other person, her eyes locked on Lilith. "Where have you been!?" She demanded, her eyes flashing with fury. She went and killed hundreds of innocents, then dissappeared and suddenly she was back when she had just gotten used to being a loner. What was up with that, part of her didn't even want the other half insane vampire back, it would destroy and semblence of peace she had managed to assemble in the time her friend (maybe) had been missing. "I was worried, but ontop of that now you're back how many more murderous rampages do you intend to go on? I understand your will to live and if that involves you killing one or two a week I can't object but -" She caught sight of Baeden and her rant ended abruptly. She couldn't help it, she hadn't meant to, but she glared at him. She stared wildly around the diner, her eyes half glazed with a mixture of emotions. Fear was there, prominent in her expression, she couldn't hide the fury, or the slight flash of disgust. She wanted to storm out, scream at something, cause some pain - too herself probably. Her hand crept absently to her wrist, her long fingernails picking at a nearly scabbed over gash. "Didn't think I'd see you two together," She said quietly, studying the floor. Floor's were good, a nice place to avert your eyes to when she felt like her feelings were being shown in them like a slideshow.
