Aniven (rarity *)
The Aniven race are much like humans, and developed parallel to them in the great Forest Plane of Silva. However, their link with nature is many times stronger, as their homes and cities consist not of stone and iron, but great trees and the like. The largest of these is the "Great Oak", and it is in this living city that the majority of the race reside. As a result of their traits in common with humans, many Aniven have traveled to Nether City to make a living, or for adventure, fame and fortune, as opposed to the relative stability of Silva. Physically, they differ from humans in the way that all Aniven display some features associated with the less developed animals which inhabit their plane. Commonly, these will be the ears and tail of a cat, fox or wolf, although the variety among them is boundless. More rarley the wings of a dove, or taloned hands can be found. Because of the close association with nature, and the differing lifestyles beween planes, aniven tend to be more trusting and freindly than Nether folks, as honesty and intergrity are key features of life in Silva. Of course there are those who once free from the bonds of morality dive in to a dashing lifestyle of theft and crime.
Typical traits; Most aniven have personalities associated with the animal that they resemble, be it curiosity, caution or loyalty. However they are close to humans in terms of the massive variety of personalities. Typical powers; Aniven tend to have excellent tracking and woodcraft skills, and on some occations their animal attributes may require a power; for example wings, or where they receive a significant advantage from these. With regard to magic, they tend to healing, and nature magics, and the likes of Croh'ila are considered to be outlawed. Few, if any, aniven will associate with one who practices such magic.
