| QUOTE | | The Plane of Darkness is huge, and mainly comprises of black deserts, formed of ebon sands. These great deserts stretch for hundreds of miles, with occasional sand dunes breaking the flat land, or boulders of glossy black, and even, very rarely, a lake of dark water. The only light that is provided in the Dark Plane is the Bloody Fist, a small red sun that in the mornings rises above the Dark Mountains, and sets behind them also, the laws of physics obviously having been warped in this evil, twisted plane. The Bloody Fist casts a little light over the Dark Plane, which still retains the same amount of light as a normal night, so not much. Unscathed by the light which is normally their bane, many evil creatures inhabit the Dark Plane, living in the shadows and preying upon each other. Not only do singular creatures exist, either; there are many armies and clans of monsters roaming the Deserts, destroying each-other in the search for bloodshed and power. |
| QUOTE | | The Dark Mountains are an ever present feature of the Dark Plane, like a serrated knife edge upon the black horizon. The jagged Mountains are tipped by pure white, luminous snow, one of the only sources of light in the dark, dangerous lands. Monsters, created from pure evil, roam the mountain wilderness, searching for any who they can bring down and feast upon. Although by nature solitary creatures, some of these monsters will group together into a deadly gang, which may number over a hundred in extreme cases. Upon the top of the largest of the mountains, named Oculus, is a massive tower, created from a mystery black stone. The Tower is over two miles high, and is said to be enchanted so that nothing can mar its perfect, glossy black surface. It is also told in hushed voices that the tower in inhabited by an order of dark sorcerers and demons who serve under a minor, but still deadly, Dark God. This God is Galemshi, the Hound of Bloody Fields. |
| QUOTE | | The Dark Forest is known through-out all of the planes as a haven for anything rejected or evil, and lives up to these dark expectations well. At best the forest is a gloomy place, its floor only reached by a few rays of the dying, crimson sun that is the best light that the Dark Plane has to offer. At worst, the darkness in the Forest is worse than pitch black, the gloomy depths of it hiding unseen menaces, or at least seeming to hide them. Many a brave adventurer has met his end without even realising he is under attack in the Forest, unable to see their foe. Many have also thought themselves blind, too, after stumbling from one merely dim part of the forest to another part that gives no light, and goes on for almost… ever. The Dark Forest itself is huge, and covers much of the western Dark Lands. No-one has ever reached the farthest western edge of the forest, as they have died or got lost way before that, and it is unknown as to whether the forest actually has a western edge or not. |
| QUOTE | | The Dark Fortress is arguably the most dangerous place in the Dark Plane. The massive black construct is built in the centre of the Plane, where the most evil magic has accumulated. The Fortress is huge, and stretches for miles in every direction, extending over a mile into the air and who knows how many underground, with hidden cave systems and catacombs housing thousand of monsters. The Dark Fortress is a haven for anything evil, and is inhabited by tens of thousands of demons and other vile monsters, who put together form hordes of disgusting, evil creatures, existing for one purpose; to kill. The Fortress is made in a seemingly random way, out of a huge black stone, with seemingly random pieces of jet black rock poking from various places, as though it were a natural formation. The truth is this; evil magic has corrupted and mutated the fortress beyond former recognition, and has created a place so accursed that it creates, and attracts, or beings of pure evil. |
