For reasons unknown - or rather forgotten - to himself, Tomas has always had sharper senses of smell and hearing than most others he encounters, and he learned to stop questioning it....

Natural shooter:
Tomas is a natural shooter, though he doesn't remember ever recieving any training himself. When under pressure, and when he doesn't think his body reacts naturally creating near perfect fire lanes and shooting with deadly efficiency. However, when he tries....

Hand to hand Brawler:
As a result of his Anivenity, Tomas has a tendency to want to close with his target, something his inherent ferocity when his 'rage' lends well to. On top of this, he had recieved rudimentary training in close quarter fighting. And a tendency to go for the throat.

Apprentice Apothecary: With an astonishing ability to identify several types of herb and poison, as well as basic healing remedies and antidotes, Tomas was well position to become an apothecary/herbalist. His looks lend a certain dignity and gravitas as well as discouraging any would be robbers....


Relapse:
When under pressure, or threatened by 'the Old foe', Tomas may undergo a relapse. This is usually foreshadowed by hearing voices, or seeing Wolves momentarily in the background and is represented by using italics. This does however leave him feeling as drained as his Aniven transformation.


History: Tomas was once the City's foremost Wilderness survival expert and Vampyre hunter, surviving countless attempts on both his own life and others in his selfish quest for Death. This has lead to him becoming almost as monstrous as the people he hunted - after all, if your stare into the Abyss, the Abyss stares into you.
However, in a display of 'mercy' his latest target - instead of killing him, which is what Tomas had wanted - decided to remove his memories by placing his mind under a magickal seal, something that Tomas could not understand as he expected death or worse still - to be turned.
So now, he wanders the city trying to understand the looks of fear he is being given.
He now works in an Apothecary shop as a store attendant.


Looks: Tomas is a short (5 feet 8 inches) and slim male, with slightly tanned skin. Long brown hair hangs haphazardly in a crudely tied ponytail, whilst his one remaining eye is a deep gold. His face is weather beaten, which adds to his age, and lightly scarred – a deeper scar running along the left side of his face along with burn scarring. His left eye is useless – a mass of congealed jelly – which he hides beneath a graying eye-patch.
He tends to wear dark trousers and a grey shirt under a white apron - losing the apron outside of the shop - as well as a Herbalists satchel.


If you look closely, there is a scar on his lower back, what once used to be a tail, whilst his head bears two similar scars. In addition, there are two faint lines below his eyes.


Personality: His snarkiness is so ingrained not even memory loss could release this defense mechanism. Other than that, generally cheerful. He enjoys his job.
